It's ok to take a break!
Hi gang,
I just got back from what was about a day and a half of being "unplugged". Mostly because where I was over the weekend had no cell or internet service.
After unpacking the camper when I got home I went straight to my emails. So many to catch up on. What I found was a reoccurring theme of people talking about taking a day off or needing a day off from all the hard work they have been doing on their online businesses. I know the feeling. I feel guilty when I take a day from work, either my job or my new online business. I will say that once I do, I feel a new sense of energy and excitement to get back to work on my website.
Our work is never done and there is always something new to add, learn, tweak, write, etc. I've been struggling to get my next post written. I must say, taking Saturday off to do whatever I wanted was so needed. Once I surrendered to the fact that I wasn't going to get to work on the biz on Saturday, it was a relief. However, once I got back home....different story, Lol!
Anyway, just to say, it's ok to take a break! Sometimes it can be the best thing you can do to move forward.
Here's to the upcoming week, whether you take time off, or have a renewed approach to you business.
Cheers!

I think it's compulsory to take a break. Airline pilots are forced to take breaks because otherwise their judgement starts to go wrong. The same is true for us internet marketers.
I totally agree. The brain needs a break. As humans we're not really built for all work and no play, I don't think.
I'm also glad that pilots are forced to take time. It only make sense.
Thanks David!
We first went there about 25 years ago with the kids. Been going there yearly ever since. Now the grandkids get to go. Love it!
Thanks Roger!
That's a long way from here. I was in New York once, when I was 1 yr old, so I'm told, lol!
I was going to go up for Labor Day, but money is a issue. Today I have to call my lawyer because of this thing I got in the mail over the weekend.
Yikes!!! I hope it all works out for the good Roger.
I imagine autumn is pretty in the East
As they say, it's all in the "hook" to "lure" them in. Sorry, I couldn't resist. It does feel good to take a break and recharge our batteries.
Your pics are great! I'm not lazy but I am a firm believer in taking breaks! Thanks for sharing your pictures..it's been so dang hot here...I want to jump right in the middle of that lake! Fish looks yummy too! ;-)
Hi Cindy. Where are you located? It's supposed to be 103 degrees on Friday here! Yikes!!!
I grew up in Alaska. You get a little acclimated to the weather here but... 103... NO!!
Nothing like fresh trout cook outdoors!
Thanks! Stay cool!
I'm in Florida! Not exactly 103 where I am but the humidity is killer!
Alaska sounds good....for a break! Trout def on the menu!
Florida, yes it's humid. I was there a few years ago for business and the humidity was a killer. Great weather otherwise!
Very dry in Alaska. It rains a lot here in Washington State. It has been a very nice mild summer so far. Only now getting the real heat. It will be over before we know.

Took a break to visit daughter and grand daughters in Virginia this weekend. Daughter and oldest granddaughter born the same day and time>....uncanny! I never miss celebrating the important things in my life. No one should! Will be refreshed when I get back to my work site this week. . Hope you all take the break you need

I am doing a little of research before hand, taking my labtop and will be writing some posts while Im away. But am looking forward to a peaceful camping trip.
