As good as gold
First off, I am new. One month anniversary will be this week. I made a promise to myself when I joined, that I would not rush. I would go slow. take in all the training and make sure that my content was king.
I had my theme and knew, exactly, who I wanted to be Affiliated with. I figured, if I wrote well and built my site that they would come.
I have only a couple of blogs in on my site so far. Google doesn't even know I am alive and most importantly, I still know very little about what I am doing. I haven't even come close to finishing my boot camp training yet.
What I do know, is that, as I continue to build my site. I wanted to be able to incorporate my chosen affiliate into that development. Reviews, Blogs,Social media and eventually PPC. I honestly felt that that integration was months if not years away.
Last week, I was looking over some of the products and services they offer in my niche area. Yes, I was getting ahead of myself. Floating off into dreamland. Oh, the things I could write. LOL
Well, moving forward. I decided to email them. I gave them my site address. Told them that I was new to affiliate marketing. I told them I was a new member at WA. I told all about the wonderful training I am undergoing and I told them about the incredible community that I am apart of.
I further added that my site is still under construction and provided an outline as to how I would integrate their products and services into the site moving forward.
Today, I received an email of acceptance. Awesome.
With that said. I do realize that this might not be such a big thing. Though, as someone who is just starting out. still learning the ropes. To me, this is as GOOD AS GOLD.

This is a VERY big thing. You took steps beyond the training to secure future business. That is huge. Thinking outside the box.

Funny how little successes brings out the kid in us. I am all excited. Even dancing around the house. LOL I will have to wait until tomorrow before I will be able to get myself focused on writing again.
