Are You Missing Out? - Day 17
30 Days To Crush Email Marketing!
Day 17
Are You Missing Out?
Hello good people of WA, welcome to another day, Tuesday to be precise and Day 17 of my 30 Day Email Marketing Challenge. The remnants of hurricane Ophelia have passed by Ireland and the British Isles and out into the North Sea..heading in the direction of Denmark.
Alexandre Cabanel's, painting "Ophelia"
Fun fact..did you know that between 1880 to 2017 the most popular year for naming your child Ophelia was in 1925, when 365 people in the U.S. did so and those children would now be 92 years old!
Any how, back to today's post and a very serious lesson all about money! That has suddenly gotten your attention hasn't it LOL.
Yesterday we explored the best elements that go into making a great Solo email. Lets now take a look at the following scenario.
We've now sent our fantastic solo email that we've invested so much of our time and effort into and guess what...we've made some sales...yipeeee! Congratulations to us :)
So what happens next?
This is the part that I see so many fellow entrepreneurs messing up on. They put their offer to bed and never mention it ever again!
Think about it, we've spent a lot of time and effort getting our members excited during the pre-offer period. It's hard work that hopefully rewarded us with lots of sales...which it did!
So why not make the most of it with a simple little follow up email?
One word you'll hear time and time again on the internet is "Leverage" You can take something small and recreate it many more times..making it much larger...you are scaling it up!
One of the best ways to "leverage" all the work you put into that one little email offer is to simply follow up with another to your readers.
Why would we want to do that?
Well think about it...our lives are busy and so are those of our readers. There’s a good chance that they saw the offer email come through, they may have even opened it and started to read but then life happened and they forgot all about it.
Remember that we are passionate about our members and we don’t want them to miss out, so why not send a gentle reminder to them. And I mean just that...it doesn't have to be as firm as our original solo email...just a little nudge in the right direction to let them know our offer is still available.
The best part about a gentle followup email is it's a great opportunity to overcome any objections. We may have gotten some questions resulting from our original solo email...which believe me is always a positive thing because it means that our readers are interested and engaged with our offer :)
A good entrepreneur will always use this engagement to quickly identify these objections and then use the follow up email to overcome them! With the objections removed...our subscriber will make the purchase...because it makes perfect sense.
This one little follow up email sent a day or two after our solo email can result in loads of additional sales. A lot of entrepreneurs fail to take that last little extra step...and are frankly leaving easy money on the table!
What if tell you there's is a little trick that can push our conversion rates through the roof! Would you be interested to know what it is...well join me tomorrow and all will be revealed!
I will leave you with my thought for the day...
Wear your cracks with pride...

Great as always; But, now you've left us hanging waiting for the big tip. Mind you I did this to my students when we were reading a novel and can't remember how many times with every class - oh Mrs S pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee read on . . . . No, you can't stop . . . . so I guess if it works on kids it sure works on us - grrrrr
Great information! I agree that a little nudge or follow up helps, it also shows a good follow through.
Houston, we have lift off...
Though the funny thing is that I have to keep my closet light on to keep the internet on, which means the wiring is off. Already placed a work order to fix it. It never ends...lol!
