Smart move, Mark. The way I see it, if WA was nothing more than a web hosting company, if you took away the community, the lessons, the chat, the video training - it's still worth it for the Wordpress sites including their support, and included SSL certificates.
Now, throw in all of the perks that I previously mentioned, plus the ability to earn income from their one-of-a-kind affiliate program and it is a no-brainer.

Yup, I was thinking the exact same thing. Some of these hosting companies have great deals for your first year, but go up significantly afterward. Plus, that's also very basic hosting, without many of the security extras. My previous bluehost account was supposed to renew last week, but I switched to manual renewal because I was going to try this out instead. Heck, this was a GREAT move. When I screwed something up before, I didn't know ANYONE I could ask for help and I did that quite often. I was basically winging it, based off of youtube videos and random articles that often contradicted each other. At least here there's actual course material to read and it's pretty clearly written. This is great!
