Here I am nearing the end of my training at WA. One of my tasks is to document my experiences thus far in a blog post. Easy task? NOT.

It's been almost three months since I went premium. I've been going at a very slow pace, much to my dislike. I can imagine most WA members have commitments outside of WA that take up most of their day.

Full-time jobs, degrees, families, busy social lives, pets, kids...you name it and I can totally relate. Well, at least to a few of these scenarios. Busy social life not included.

If you're reading this because you logged on WA despite you being that busy, you're one extraordinary human being.

In the spirit of being as kind to myself as I am to others, I must add that yes, I've been slower than expected but my progress has been steady.

Progress, whether slow or quick, is the most important factor in knowing that You Can Do This.

So what have been my achievements so far?

  • Enriching my marketing knowledge through the golden training
There are some things I never found value in previously until the WA genius training sessions which have opened my eyes in a whole different light.
  • Meeting and connecting with some of the most wonderful people from all over the world
Help is always there when you need it, most of the times in a matter of seconds. The feeling of having a community to inspire you and support you when you need it, is well, priceless!
  • Creating my very own first niche website with my very own domain
I have created some Wordpress websites for friends and family in the past but this feeling is different. Whereas I used to hand my site creations over in the past, this one stays with me and I need to nurture it daily.
  • Writing content…Sod it, this needs paraphrasing: Pushing myself to create content a couple of times a week.
By far that’s my biggest challenge. I don’t mind writing short pieces here and there but the goal of writing over 2000 words on one single topic is something I normally dread. Nonetheless, here I am about to brag to you all on how I finished my very first article today that amounted to 2027 words.
  • Linking to Google AdSense
Still not convinced it’s the right thing for my site but I did it anyway. Trial and error can go a long way in the quest for knowledge.

On the days where I lack motivation or I find myself with free time to focus on WA but instead I start procrastinating, I remember something I’ve always been teaching my daughter. Most of you have had or been around kids and know most of them need a little push to do something new.

Whenever she would get frustrated and would want to give up, I would remind her that she can do it because she can do anything in this world. It worked like a charm when she was a baby learning how to crawl, walk and talk. It’s still working when she’s building a puzzle, for instance, and gives up all too easily or when she gets fed up writing her numbers. When the mantra comes out of my mouth, she’s quick to go back and try again.

Wait a minute, if she can do it why can’t I? No one wants to feel like a hypocrite and not practice what they preach.

Newer members like me are all in the toddler progress. It’s mostly learning new things, trial and error and a lot of support in the right direction. And we are so blessed to have such support here at WA.

Let’s all do it and let’s all do it well!

Peace and love,
Maria

I'm with you on that one, and a little side note, I had to chuckle a little, it is funny the things you tell your kids along the way and then you stop and realize it applies to you as well. My kids are now 35 and 32 and trust me they never forget, so someday when your daughter is grown she will be your champion and always remind you to keep going.

That's very comforting to know, Mary, that they don't forget what we were teaching them despite having to convince ourselves too :) Wishing you the best of luck!

A very beautifully-spoken post, my dear Maria! You have put so much heart into your words, and have also defined WA to the tee! Great accomplishments with your run-down, too! You are well on your way to great and bountiful advancements in the online world of Internet Marketing!
