If you go through the members of this site, you may note that a great majority of them are newer. I recall there being times that this would spook some people.
However, I feel instead it is a good thing. I feel that some people come here, learn a great deal from the resources, because highly involved and end up being one of the core members of the group, helping build this very site. That is a good thing, I think this site helps many people.
I feel that the rest, well not all of the rest because there are always going to be people who just join something and expect miracles to happen out of the blue, but most of the rest I feel learn a great deal, get in the habit of taking action steps each day, and then maybe go off on their own.

But because of this great site they were exposed to concepts that were previously unknown to them. Perhaps they had never made a web site of their own and now they are familar with wordpress and can better navigate out there on their own.
I suspect that happened to many of the former members here. We all have our different paths we ended up traveling.
My point, if I have one, is that regardless if this suits you 100% and you stay here, or if you feel you are going a different direction, take advantage of what is here to be learned while you are here.
Something as simple as having a few action steps each day, like you will experience if you go through any of the courses, will be a very great habit for the future regardless of which path you choose.
A number of different people come through here each month. If you get the chance to chat with them, or just silently read their words from afar, either way, you may have the chance to learn something. I have learned a few random things here from time to time. Not as much recently because I have been far less active in the last several months.
Anyway, I feel this place can be very helpful to you if you approach it correctly. So keep your eyes open and try to take in as much as you can. I wish you all the best. -Mat
