A Problem with Free Membership & Its Proposed Solution
PROBLEM
I think we have a problem to sort with the STARTER FREE membership of Wealthy Affiliate programme. If someone joins WA and remains FREE for 7 days then makes another email address and again joins FREE. This he keeps on doing till he has copy pasted and screen recorded all the material on WA portal. Also in meanwhile he has set up say 2x7 = 14 product websites running without becoming a premium member because with every new email address he gets 2 new free to develop websites. After he has achieved his goals he does not need WA at all so he will never become a Premium member.
MY SOLUTION
From day 1 “Free” membership should be limited to only those facilities which are available after 7 days. Also there should be a video available giving a full commentary on each of the topics and video glimpses of the PREMIER PAID membership. This video should truthfully entice to upgrade as WA is a true as well as complete education to start earning online.
MY REASON FOR POSTING THIS
I have contacted many FB friends to try to sell WA to them. They have either enrolled for FREE membership and not upgraded or NOT enrolled at all despite apparently being fully convinced to join WA in conversation with me. Some of them may be doing what I have suspected and stated above?
I need all your thoughts on the above and I stand corrected on all the points that I have stated. Awaiting your response to this post.

It sounds like you may have a great set of posts for your website. It's true that the system can be abused but if someone isn't going to upgrade to Premium then no amount of coercion is going to get them there.
Instead of worrying about the ones that won't upgrade, concentrate on how to help them to want the additional features.
Your view is welcome but the reason why I have put this post is that statistics show that 12% of Free members convert to Premium. By adopting my solution ... then may be this % would palpably increase. Do we not want that? Our advertising efforts would also pay more dividents. Another way could be that when one signs up as a Free member they can acess Premium features by additionally signing in free through their PayPal acoount for $0.0

Being on wa is demanding... many do not realize that.
The free membership gives them a chance to evaluate their chances. Which is a tremendous effort from WA.
And cheating is hard.
With filters and logging, all can be traced...
Sooner or later it stops.
