Just wondering about my proposed travel site.

One of the features I would love to highlight would be to help people on their journey and get them out of their stale hotel rooms and into some cool vacations stays.

Part of me says that those who travel and appreciate rustic, local flavour, real people and the character of a place would do all the research themselves.

Are there people out there who are interested in a local bed and breakfast or great vacation home but are finding the hours of research online too much...sifting through negative reviews extremely difficult...

Can I charge for such a product ?

How can I make the time invested not result in a price that would scare away the potential consumer.

One potential idea would be along the lines of links and would I potentially be able to send a link in an email to a customer and get regular affiliate type commissions?

My first blog, semi question, feeler out to the community.
