Am I on the wrong track here?
So I have my website that I created here with the WA training http://www.organizedhomeschool.com . I have put into action all of the things Kyle teaches especially picking good keywords. I am still not ranked on any of the top 3 pages of Google for any of my posts or pages for the keywords I picked.
I guess my main question to you all is, am I picking the wrong kind of thing to try and make any noticeable amount of money with?
I am passionate about homeschooling. That is what I do all day! Ha! I have a ton of affiliate links I can promote but they are all low cost items paying out $4 each or 6% of a $20 book, etc. I would have to have a TON of traffic and alot of that traffic converting to make any money worth mentioning.
Should I be picking a niche that I can sell higher dollar items on?
I would love to hear advice from WA fellow members who have been doing this awhile and to know what kind of items you are targeting to make money with.
Thanks,
Kim

A couple of things to consider here.
A site generally takes 3 to 6 months and about 25 posts/pages to start seeing decent rankings.
Another thing is the size of your market compared to the items that are bought in that market. I don't know how big that market is or how eager home schoolers are to buy things within that niche. Just something to consider.
