Always Have a Take-Away
This is super short, but I think it's very important.
Any time you spend time reading an article or watching a video on growing your business or increasing a skill, have something specific that you take away.
Either take notes about something actionable that you can do with the information soon or take action now.
It's easy to think you're being productive by taking in information, but unless you do something with the information -- or use the info to spin ideas and make plans to do something with it soon -- you may just be wasting time.
I have Google Drive folders for each project I'm working on or researching, and I keep lists of helpful articles and videos (with links) and the primary take-aways from each.
