Smart Phones Are Not To Be Trusted

I started my day, as usual, giving thanks and catching up on the things I should have done the day before. The Meteorologist said it would be a hot day so I took a few laps around the block early in the morning.

My cell phone rang and I tried to answer it but although the line was open and I could hear two people chatting away, the caller did not respond to me. I think it would be in poor taste for me to listen to their conversation so I hang up the phone.

It rang a second time and I realized that the phone was sending out the calls by itself. This was an international call and I had no long distance on my plan to call my friend to warn her that her phone called me a few times.

Another friend called and I told her what has been happening. She advised me to listen to the conversation the next time the phone calls me. According to my friend number 2, if my name is on the phone and they keep calling it a smart phone might call me. I told her I would do no such thing, but I did.

The phone called me another day, I answered the phone and tried to get the attention of the caller and realized that the call was sent out by the phone. Of course, I listened, oh! Yes. The conversation was about me.

I was not upset I just thought they could ask me what they wanted to know. I told her that I got a few calls from her phone. Smart phones are not to be trusted. Some of the apps we put on the phones can send out calls.

Remember to say nice things about your friends, they may be listening.
