Savannah's Haunted History
I am having a wonderful day today driving out to Savannah GA. It is good to be in the company of good friends and family. Sometimes friends are not genuine and they disappoint us but when they are true and all is going well we should enjoy the moment.
Savannah, Georgia is a Historic city.The Town got its name from the Savannah River, the river was namedafter an immigrant band of Shawnee Indians named Savana.
Savannah's history began in 1733 when General James Oglethorpe and 120 sailors, sailing on a ship named “Anne” landed at Savannah River, In February Oglethorpe named the 13th American Colony “Georgia”after King George ll of England.
Savannah is said tobe the most haunted city in The United States. Savannah's history isfilled with plagues, wars, duels and murders.
When you vacationed in Savannah you are given tours of the city and you will hear stories of Haunted Houses, Ghosts and other misfortunes. If you enjoy those stories then Savannah could be your next vacation spot.
