Need feedback about my niche idea

Hello! My niche is about how to care for bunnies. I am hoping that isn't too broad, but it can cover several different topics in bunny care, from cage/hutches I can recommend from affiliate sites like Amazon or PetCo/PetSmart, bunny toys from places like BinkyBunny (who do affiliate programs), to books I can recommend on more in-depth education, etc. This is something I am interested in and really have a passion for and have a lot of knowledge about because of my own bunnies. I would just like a 2nd (or 3rd or 4th) opinion from those more experienced than I on my niche topic I would build my website on: How to care for your bunny.

A 2nd question. I haven't signed up for premium yet, mostly because after the premium offer of $20 for the first month, $47 a month will be a tight pill to financially swallow unless I can get my website producing income quick enough to cover that cost (I know it's tax deductible, but monthly finances are tight at the moment). Is it feasible to get my website producing income within essentially 60 days if I put in 10-15 hours per week on it?

3rd question: Say that I build my website now with the subdomain offered to starter members and then upgrade to premium and want to host the site as my own domain? Is it transferrable that way?

Thanks for any feedback and help!

1. Your niche is fine Sarah. You can also do caretaking videos and tutorials on bunny care and have a donation page on your site for income to come in. I'd share your site on social networks too. This answers your second question.

3. Yes you can move your hosting if you own a domain from WA to another provider.

Oh!! That's a great idea!! I have to give one of my buns oral meds every day and then we also clip their nails on our own. I could totally do stuff like that. And who doesn't love to see a bunny do a binky?! (an excited hop/twist in the air when they are happy). A donation page is awesome.

Thank you, thank you!!

No problem!

Hi, I think you have a good niche idea. There are many different products that you can promote in a niche like that. I don't think it's too broad, so long as you delve into specific aspects of caring for bunnies.

In my experience, 60 days in not enough to bring a site up to $47/month, especially if you're new at this. It took my site 10 months to get up to $100/month, but granted, I did not spend anywhere near 10-15 hours per week on it. In fact, I neglected it for several weeks at a time sometimes lol.

Before your website will make any money, you have to get traffic going to it. And for organic traffic, Google has to index and rank your pages and posts. Sometimes this process can take a bit of time, especially for new sites. That's why I think 60 days might not be long enough....

Yes you can transfer you website from domain to domain.

Good luck!

Thanks for the information! I see a lot of reason to go premium, especially because then there would be tools and coaching available to me on how to generate traffic and build an audience. Building an audience I imagine involves a cost, too. It is, after all, a business.

Did you manage just one site to bring it to $100/month after 10 months? Or did you create multiple pages/niches to produce the income you built by that point?

I'm glad my domain is transferable, even if, let's say I join for premium and later on down the line decide not to stay with WA, the domain(s) I've built would still be transferable to another one I've chosen?

it's hard to save your site will be producing income at level to maintain your WA membership. As a starter you'll need essentially four premium sign-ups to pay for your membership..

How many people do you know that have the finances and may need the services provided here at WA?you may find that it is easier to do it this way to try and generate income from your website.

Reach out to people you know and let them know what it is that you are doing you may find there is more interest than you think..
Send them your affiliate link at them check it out for themselves.

Just to make sure I understand, by four premium sign-ups, you are specifically talking about the affiliate bootcamp and marketing WA to others, correct? I may do that in the future, but I want to be a member on the site longer so I can truthfully market something I believe in, not just to get money.

Thanks for your ideas, though :)
