Between the ages of four and six your parents teach you to ride a bike. You eventually became comfortable enough with your skills, leaving your street, and exploring your neighborhood freely. Later on in your teenage years you took drivers Ed and the teacher taught you to drive a car. You eventually became comfortable enough with your skills to explore the highway to get to school and later to another state. Now you have the skills to use either a bike or a car to get where you want to go. These skills have become motor and you don't even have to think about the mechanics of them to successfully arrive from point A to point B. There is only so far you can go with the skills to ride a bike and drive a car. Imagine where you could go if you were taught to fly a plane. Coaches are pilot instructors.
