Site Content - Yay or Nay?

I'm not so sure about using Site Content. I have written my first post with it today. The thing that bothers me is the photos. I cropped each one and they are all different sizes in the finished product. I discovered that they are not saved in the image library either.

Also, when editing the text and moving sentences around, they would end up in weird places with different formatting.

Maybe these are just bugs that need to be worked out. I am wondering how others are getting along using Site Content.

For now I am sticking with creating content in wordpress.

If you insert an image aligned either left or right, then it will be integrated direction INTO the content. If you want an image to be on its own independent line, you'll want to either center align the image or have no alignment at all.

Once you insert the image, then you can adjust the size of it by dragging from the corner. The images are all inserted at a standard size and then from there you can manipulate the size of it. This is done for ease of use and design.

And after you have inserted an image into your content, it will be available to you within your past images (your library within SiteContent).

I hope this helps you out and clarifies things for you.

Thanks Kyle! I appreciate the response. I will try it.

OMG! I just went back into Site Content and reworked all of my images. Is there no way to save it?

I've only published one actual blog post using site content, and it was 'OK'. For me, I'll be checking and modifying my posts in WordPress for now, but will continue to use Site Content for a while at least, as the image library and grammar checker have the potential to speed up the process for me.

I did have a glitch in image - text flow formatting, but I blame that on an image move that I made. Also, some text tweaking was needed in WordPress, and I could not be effective at inserting amazon links until I was in WordPress, but I can live with those issues. At least part of this is ME learning this new platform.

The learning curve seems easier than it was with WordPress, so I'm optimistic.
Hope that helps...
Steve

PS - check the last 2 posts on my site and compare - the last one was done in Site Content, the others just in WordPress.
