My article topic is banned by Squidoo.
Ok, so I worked my butt off last week and completed Lesson 5 for the Article Marketing Certification Course. Except for the final posting. Squidoo is saying that my topic is banned. I edited, edited, edited, and edited and still the same. Changed titles, took out WA links, still the same.
Has anyone gone through this? What did you do to fix it? Should I not say the words Internet Marketing? Wealthy Affiliate? Affiliate Marketing? Work at Home online?
Please let me know if you have had this problem too? I'm almost ready to say forget Squidoo and post Ezine links to my landing page so that I can move on to lesson 6. I would like to over come this obstacle though.

@PowersFamilyFarm...thanks for the info. I don't know what buffering lens means. Off the top of my head I'm thinking smoothing around the edges. You have more lenses than me. I've been so busy building my new website as you know we are in the WA Club together.
I have something like 10 Squidoo lenses up and a few of them do promote making money on the Internet. The most recent one I put up hit their spam filters because it was promoting a site called GeoString (http://www.geostring.com/?1257874). I couldn't understand what the problem was and didn't see it addressed in their TOS or Squidon'ts, but I got around it by making GeoString two words: Geo String. That allowed me to publish the lens. I found another lens on Geo String that did the same thing, only it was a crummy lens.
I know Squidoo is very concerned about the overly promotional and spammy lenses, so you definitely want to make sure your lens is content rich and informative. You want to promote more through information than through a lot of hype and promises.
I'd like to know more about "buffering" a lens. What exactly does that mean?
Kristy -- not to worry. Check with PotPieGirl on Squidoo. She offers tutorials here at WA that address working a Squidoo lens. We had a lot of affiliates and MLM'ers online putting raw affiliate links inside of their lenses and it became a big problem. Usually, you have to pull in a free blogger.com blog to "buffer" your lens ...or you can pull in the WA blog & funnel system. No chance at promoting Wealthy Affiliate on Squidoo. They brought the hammer down quite some time ago.
I had the same problem. I've even had some lenses deleted. Hubpages will work, and it's pretty similar to squidoo. Good Luck.
Be cautious with how much time you spend on a Squidoo lens promoting IM, WA or work at home. They had lost so much credibility with Google they really had to lower the hammer. You may just want to move on to a different platform.
forget Squidoo, they are a pain in the a$$ and don't hold the authority in Google they once had. So, it's better to use other web 2.0 sites like hubpages.
UPDATE: I made a bunch of changes and now they're telling me add more content...guess I deleted too much. Well, back to writing...

Nothing to worry about. Squidoo has been tightening the lid on the jar a lot lately. I wouldn't worry about it and find another place to post like an article directory. Ezine, ArticlesBase or GoArticles are good ones. I like your first sentence showing that you have energy and determination. I'll let you in on a little tip. Copy your articles to a text editor like NotePad. Don't use WordPad for many reasons. After you paste it to NotePad, ...save it and you will have a copy of it before you submit your article anywhere. That way you always have a backup of all that hard work and can just try elsewhere.
