Resilience - my word
Last year I choose "Believe" as my word of the year. Did you have one? What was it?
With all that has occurred in the 366 days of 2020 - it was a leap year after all, I believed.
This year I choose resilience. Here is why;
Definition
- an occurrence of rebounding or springing back into shape, position
- able to recoil or spring back into shape after bending, stretching, or being compressed.
3. resilience is the understanding that life is full of challenges.
4. an ability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune or change
This is what I will need to do to heal, grow, care, understand, be kind and tackle whatever comes my way!
