Hi I’ve got a bit white strip at the top of my site on all blog pages and home page with two words saying ‘Page content’. Does anyone know how I can get this

Hey Louise,

In visiting your profile, I noticed you have not filled in your Follow Me on section to show your website URL. Was so hoping to see if I could help you with this.

You could Google search: "[your theme name goes here] - remove whitespace and Page content text" (without the quotation marks, of course) and you may find someone else has asked your theme's support this very question.

Also, you may find that you need to create a child theme in order to make that change so that in the future, when updating your theme, you won't overwrite your modifications.

Here's a training video to help you do that Hope you find this helpful.

Hi, I never even saw the follow me links before! lol thanks for the heads up, Is this where I would put my site links or is it a personal thing? Sorry I haven't come across that I don't think in training!
Ok thanks I will give this a go also, I have been googling it but so many different things are coming up telling me to change or add codes to my website and am not very familiar with this apart from using a plugin!
I will take a look at the training video now, thanks :)

It is not Follow Me links... you will find a "Follow Me on" section in your profile where you can share your website URL along with the URLs for your social media accounts that you would like other members here to visit or follow you on.

Don't think that was covered off in the training.

Oh that's cool! I got the bit in training where it said share your site in your bios but didn't actually know there was a links section also, thanks! :)

@Triblu, I don't think it's in the training. I think most people set up their profile before they create their website- then don't go back and fill it in on their profile once their website is created. I've noticed a lot of the people I've been meeting don't have their website links on their profile. Looking through people's bios and blog posts to find their websites is quite tedious.

It could be your theme Louise.

here is a web page with some solutions

https://tinyurl.com/removewhitespace

Hi Robert, I don't think it was there before as I've only just noticed it, I'll take a look at your solutions though and see if anything helps, thank you! :)

No probs and hope you find something in the web page.
I'm off for the night now so maybe catch you tomorrow and you will tell me you got it fixed.
Robert

I'm working on it! :D Thanks so much for your help.
Louise :)
