Happy New Year WAmily! The overall reaction to 2021 seems to be one of relief. In the hope that this relief is not unfounded, it's probably best that we usher 2020 out gently. Hence the words "Hamba Gashle 2020"
Zimbabwean Blessing For 2021
I received a beautiful message via WhatsApp today, it was originally from Changa Safari Camp which is described on their Facebook page as follows:
"Changa Safari Camp is a unique 5-star tented camp on the edge of Lake Kariba within the Matusadona National Park, Zimbabwe"
You are welcome to look them up on Facebook - I would love to spend time there, you probably would too.
BTW, I am not an affiliate for Changa, in fact, I hadn't heard of them until today, so there is no benefit to me for promoting this beautiful place.

What Does This Have To Do With Wealthy Affiliate?
Here's the rub ... January is the perfect month to be dreaming our biggest dreams, writing down our goals, and mapping out action plans to achieve them, right?
How about adding an awesome African Safari to your biggest dreams and goals for 2021?
All going well, I shall be spending some time at Changa Safari Camp in 2021. No, not only me, but also my loved ones! Make no mistake, that is a big dream and goal - my family lives all over the world, literally! Australia, USA, Jersey Islands, United Kingdom, Botswana, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Getting us all together in one place will be no mean feat!
It's going on my vision board, nevertheless. Along with this list, just to name a few:
- relocation to the beautiful Western Cape coastline,
- become the proud owner of a stand-up paddle board (already in training on my balance/wobble board),
- qualify as a scuba diver
As I said, this list is just a few of my plans for 2021.

How are you planning for 2021? Have you said Hamba Gashle to 2020?
I did - the best way I know how in a time of social distancing ... by joining an online prayer group from 11.30pm to 10 minutes after midnight. Lighting candles for our front line workers and for the souls of those lost in 2020. We ushered 2020 out gently and welcomed 2021 with hope and quiet enthusiasm.

Appreciate the share. Prior to each New Year I look back at the previous years goals and aspirations to see what I accomplished and what changes I need to make to increase their completion in the New Year.
Reflection is key to the focus On the incoming year and now is the time to do so.

Agreed, reflection is absolutely key. My 2020 goals required a lot of adjustment based on the events of 2020 - it was an "interesting year" (putting it politely :-))

Hey Louise I also want to do scuba diving but I have to go through a night dive at an old submarine bay. Pretty scary place so I will wait till I fly again lol

Many lives in turmoil in 2020 due to COVID 19.
Hopefully 2021 will see a gig improvement & COVID will have gone.
I am interested in your goal to visit Changa Safari Camp in 2021.
It will be a big adventure & gathering your loved family, scattered around the world will be a mammoth task. I wish you well with this goal.

I am glad you appreciated the terminology, we do need to be gentle, now more so than ever - as you say, so many lives in turmoil.
Thank you for your wishes for my goal - it is going to be a big one especially as there are so many aspects that are out of my control. Prayer helps with those :-)
From what I understand, our lives will not return to "normal" for at least another 2 years (if ever) as that is how long we can expect Covid to be impacting our lives for. We will all just have to learn to live differently - human adjustment is essential at this stage, that's my belief.
