Google Plus followers dropping like flies!

My google plus follower numbers had been dropping by a couple every few days and then when I checked this morning, it seems as if I have lost 20 overnight and I have no idea why! Has anyone else noticed this or has an explanation for it?

Google plus can be a fickle beast. I know that GP often gets bots that come in waves and will follow and unfollow. This gives the bots the appearance of being "alive".
This will continue to happen. No reason for alarm!
