Got the 1968 Buick GS (Gran Sport) out and decided to see how the 41 year old paint job would polish up! Looks good at 20, ok, maybe 30 feet!! Lots of door dings!

Bought the car a year before we got married in 1977. Had it in the wedding chase (friends filled it with crumpled up news paper) Had an ugly 2-inch stripe down the body line. Had it repainted in 1979! Brought it a year ago from Montana to Arizona and getting it cleaned up to take it out to show it off.

Not my first car. First car was a 1966 Chevy 2 Nova. It got ran into and totaled out, so bought a 1967 Chevy 2 Nova. Wasn't the same, so sold it. Had a red 1968 Buick GS that also got ran into and totaled out, so bought this Buick GS and still have it!! It's fun to show it off and visit with others about their first car they wish they still had or still have! Would like to hear your story of the car you had or still have!!

Nice car. It brings back memories of being in high school.

Bad A$$ car, Lon! I wish I still had my 1959 Chevy Apache! Loved that old truck--I do have it's much bigger brother--a 1959 Chevy Viking 60 Dump truck though! Thanks for sharing the beautiful car, my friend!

Beautiful. I had a 67 Impala, lowered it, started on the interior and it caught fire in the driveway. Didn't have the money or time to bring the old girl back to life. sigh

Thanks for sharing
Greg

Very Nice post. I had a 65 Ford when my wife and I got married and drove from Connecticut to Anchorage, Alaska on our honeymoon 4,800 miles. The return trip was only 3,000 from Seattle to Connecticut. Great looking car.

Hi Lon, that sure is a beautiful car. I got a 75 LeSabre, it is garaged now as it is winter and snowy here in Ontario, Canada.
Its my baby

Best wishes,
Michael

Now that's a sweet ride, Michael! 👍👍😎
