Something you love.
The greatest joy in life comes from something your passionate about. I have so many friends that are going to school for years on end to get trained in fields only because that's where the money is. I have friends with Masters but will spend their time over a glass of wine with me to complain about their careers. Or even worst, a few that have gone the distance in education and aren't even working in their chosen field. I may be too harsh, maybe the fact is we are never really content and are always searching for the next thrill lol. I remember a report last year I read that said the only way to be happy after 40 is to accept your life as it is.
In my opinion we are always evolving at least mentally and it's very healthy to keep dreaming. I have a few friends I keep close because of their fun energy! They are always learning and never submit to these claims stagnation. In Marketing you need to possess this trait, because the field is ever-changing and much like an old Kung Fu Movie you must learn to "bend like the tree in the wind".
One thing that will always keep my passion alive is to have a niche that I know will help other's. Something that I have to believe in, for if I don't then it's very hard for me to bolster up the energy to even peak about it to others. The only reason I think I became a member of Organo Gold was because I drink the product daily and have found it to feel right (plug lol sorry). But I guess I really want to say to find something you love, it will infuse everything you create with a sense of ownership that will surpass the need for profit. And in the end, profit will come but your happiness won't even notice it lol.

Right on Jason! You are so right - it is always the passion of working with your passion that keeps life energized! Finding that is the key! Great post!

Hi Jason, yes what you write is true. The choices that we have made in life have lead to what we have in life - now. Seems harsh, but people who think "I hate my job" for example, can make a choice to search elsewhere. (Hello WA!) If they don't, well guess what? That's a choice to stay right where they are. Sometimes choices are not easy, but everyone out there goes through tough decisions in their life. I think if we focus on making the best choice that we can in that moment, then that is all that we can do. Trust me, when you are 40 you do (well most people) think differently from say 20 or so. We've learned a thing or 300 by then!
