Uncategorized, unclassified, unknown, unspecified, indefinite
You definitely don't want posts like this on your website!
By default WordPress has created the 'Uncategorized' category. That is a category where you can hang messages in.
Now it is so, unfortunately, that you can not delete this category. You can only rename him.
You can do this by going to Posts> Categories, and editing the category there.
Rename Uncategorized
Do this as quickly as possible, because it is a shame to have this meaningless "Uncategorized, unsorted, unclassified, unknown, unspecified, unstipulated, borderless, imprecise, inconclusive, indefinite, undetermined, vague" category on your website.
New names
Messages, Announcement, Other posts, Information, Correspondence, Notices, Bulletins, Notes, Advice, Topics, Circulars, Publications, Remarks

Oh so totally only a couple of minutes and done!
However, taking a look at recent posts here at WA is a little mental-mind-break from another project that has its tentacles latched on. Must get that project wrapped up, place the orders for my company for the day...and then get ready to hop on a plane at 5am tomorrow morning...
That easy couple of minutes and done is on the project desk for tomorrow, as soon as I land and get settled :) Have all day tomorrow to WA and swim in the hotel pool. Yes, I am very excited!

My niche site is dog related. I saw the uncategorized category come up and hated it. When I find my posts don't fit into a particular category, it now goes into one labeled "all about dogs". I was just thinking that "more about dogs" seems better.
