Duck You, Autocorrect
I've learned a lesson. Don't conduct business over email on the phone.
I've had a great week with the website this week; two companies have approved me for an affiliate program and one has set up a partnership with me (a small one but it's still exciting!).
I wanted to answer an email back that I had forgotten to answer when I was back at home, so I jumped on the phone real quick and started typing away. I was so excited about getting back to them I just typed it up really quick and hit send, closed the phone case and went on my merry way!
I came home, opened up my inbox to see if any of the other companies I've reached out to had replied...
...and I saw it.
The autocorrect....I've left out a letter to keep things decent on here...but youll get the idea.
"I think having a special co*k would be great! I'll make sure it isn't too long and easy to put in when people are ready to go..."
Omg....no...no that's supposed to say CODE! Oh crap. What do I do? I normally always catch my phone's crazy autocorrects! Why would my phone think that is the proper context for that word?! Oh! Maybe she'll understand it's supposed to be code, let me read the sentence again....
Omg...the context doesn't help. What do I do?!
Lucky for me, she thought it was hilarious. Said she needed a good laugh today and shared with eeevveerrryyyyone in the office. So now...I'm that "special co*k girl". I don't even work in that office and I have a nickname.
At least they'll remember me, right?!
