i just created my website and i did a copy and paste to google. i got a display for a lot of subjects not related to my audience.. can i filter my url or use a filter somewhere
Hi There, How much information have you put on your site and have you chosen your theme. I am asking this as the stuff may be unwanted "welcome " pages and widgets..Jen
i have not put anything on the website yet. i will look again and make sure i picked a theme.....thanks

Why is my website is displaying unwanted info?

When you say copy and pasted to Google, do you mean you entered your domain name in to Google and performed a search?
If you are searching Google, then it will be displaying other websites that are similar to the words within your domain name.
To filter the search results to only your website, type in the following, but change domain.com to your own domain name.
site:domain.com
However, looking at other comments, it looks like this is a brand new website, with no setup and no content (pages/posts). In which case, Google won’t have indexed you yet, and you will see no results displaying in Google just yet.
Follow the training step by step, wait for it to be found and indexed by the search engines, then you’ll be good to go :-)
