I reached my goal early
Hello All of you wonderful people.
I hope this finds you well?
Setting goals are a great way of getting things done.
When i first started my website i wanted to write 70,000
words by the time it was 6 months old. In the beginning
this was a tall order, i struggled to get over 600 words in
the first few blogs. Practise certainly makes it easier.
Website started 14 th April 2020, as of today 6th October 2020
i have written
" 71,801 Your all-time words written
And more than 99% of WA Members this month"
Patting myself on the back. It is only 8 days early but it is still
an achievement worth celebrating.
My New goal is to have 150,000 words written by the time
my site is at the one year mark. Writing this here to keep
myself accountable.

Way to go, Lisa!
I found that since writing that long blog post, I've learned that thinking about the number of words, affects the quality of the content....because I'm more focused on how many words I need to write, rather than writing the content....
Its a process, for sure, but its provided me a new drive to write about what I know that can help others on many levels.

Thank you very much Rudy. I don’t concentrate on the word count, I just write until I have nothing else to say. 🤩
I was concerned, ok, consumed, with the idea that now I had to write 1000 words...Yet, once I started writing, the ideas kept coming and before I knew it, I had written over 1600 words...course, I did have to take a quick break or two, and got right back into writing...

I love that quote and it is so true. If we continuously push ourselves to better today than we were yesterday we will eventually arrive at our goals. Of course then we will set new goals as you so beautifully demonstrated within your post. Congratulations on reaching your goal 8 days early. That is over a week and in the business world that is huge. Have a great week Lisa.
