A very different new years eve

Hello wonderful people. I hope this finds you well?
This new years eve is very different from any other I have experienced. Normally we would have been out with the family and a few friends, having a meal and some drinks and dancing the night away or being away on a cruise ship.
This evening has been spent at home, writing and completing 2 blog posts. just published the first one.
Hoping to be able to get back to going out again in 2021. The live music in the pub has just finished ready for the 10 o'clock curfew.
2021 will be a better year for every one of that I am certain.

2020 has been a very different year, to say the least! From social distancing to self quarantines, and even curfews it will be one hard to forget for years to come.
Let's just hope that in 2021 we are able to put all of this behind us and grow into something unimaginable at this time!

Hi Lisa, Happy New Year to you and I also hope this year is a better one than the last. 2020 was racked with all kinds of issues, the most obvious one: COVID-19.
I have also been busy writing... but not on my website. Of course, it was for my website though. I just finished writing my free offer to get subscriber e-mail addresses. I came to the realization that I need to hurry up and get my e-mail subscriber list going.
I've dragged my feet on that one for too long. LOL!
I'll continue with that tomorrow... the landing page or pop-up. Not sure which one I am going to use.

I just finished mine. Whooo that was a lot of work. I decided to put the link to my free offer in the sidebar as a widget. The link will take them to a landing page that will then ask for their first name and e-mail.
Then the rest follows. It actually works too... 😊

MarionBlack has great training here. Check out all of the training she has here. I followed her concept mostly. Not the actual plugins or exact steps.
I figured out that I had to work from creating the page to put my free bonus on, then uploading it to my site. You have to sort of work back from there.
I am actually thinking of making my own training for it as well. Just don't know exactly how and what to put in my training for it. I have to think about that one.
It was a lot of steps, but all in all, not too difficult. I just had to think it through completely before starting it.

Very nice post Lisa. I'm thinking of things to be grateful for. Candy and I are healthy, still have most of our brains about us. Our son, daughter-in-law and grandbaby live close by and are doing well. Seems we only have a few friends, but all have been friends as long as we can remember. When I think, I always wanted to be denned up at home for several months, better if it was our idea. Here's to 2021, love, peace, happiness and prosperity. Also good health. And lets have some some fun!!!

Nice Roger - we must always look for things to be grateful for, and we have a lot (certainly compared to our parents' and grandparents' generations). They lived through two world wars and the great depression (not to mention the "Spanish flu" pandemic of 1918-19).
Now we have a global pandemic on our hands - probably the greatest pestilence of our lifetime.
But we can beat it simply by staying at home on the sofa - how hard can that be?
