When my payment failed, my heart sank

My premium payment was due on July 1st, but unfortunately my payment failed because I didn't have much funds in the account. I knew two days later it would be pay day, but I was terrified that my membership would be cancelled and I would lose my site that I worked so hard to manage. I'm not making any money yet, but I love the design and layout of my magazine style site. I even included a portfolio for jobs that I am interested in applying for. The panic only lasted few days because today I seen that Wealthy Affiliate made another attempt to capture the funds and everything went through, and I don't have that dreaded red bar stating that my payment has failed. The fear that I had makes me realize how much I love Wealthy Affiliate, and I plan to stay a member for a very long time. Now all I need to do is manage my money better so that I don't have another failed payment, or better yet maybe I will earn some money from promoting my site, and a failed payment will be a memory from the past.

Hello, I am in the same dilemma right now. It's been 2 days and I have changed cards, moved funds, changed my mode of payments but still the red stripe is there. I keep on updating my WA page but still the red stripe won't go away. I wish there was a way to make an immediate payment thru PayPal but i don't know the direct email address for payments on WA. Do I have to wait for them to try and charge me again?
Iv'e got a bit of OCD in me and 2 days of seeing that red stripe is making me ugly and evil :(
I hope someone could enlighten me soon.
Thanks for your article Livefearless.

I went through the same thing a few days ago. They make 3 attempts at your card before your account is canceled and you get notified each time.

Hi Denverlowe. Thank you. I guess i have to wait for them to make another attempt. Its been 2 days since their first attempt. I actually wrote a PM to Kyle and asked for the email add to directly pay WA. Cheers!

Definitely, my goal is to stay with Wealthy Affiliate for at least a year, and so far I love it and look forward to logging into my account every day. Even when I feel frustrated at work, I log into Wealthy Affiliate in between calls to give me hope and inspiration.

Thank goodness everything went through. No one wants to see failed payment when you are with such a wonderful community.

That's good to know. Thanks for the info.

I think they don't delete anything from your account immediately.

I read somwhere you have a month to transfer your blogs to another hosting if you decide to cancel your membership. So maybe it works the same if you don't pay when it's due (the part where I said they don't delete anything immediately).
