Jun'18 Results - $2.9K Woohoo!

Last Update: July 02, 2018

I almost can't believe that number! I've waited so long to see this number!

I had set a goal to hit $2K in 6 months when I started here, so I'm a little late in the game but I made it!!! I have reached that goal!

Here are some quick stats:

* 470+ posts

* 1,968 users/day (new record)

* 37,578 users for June

* 44,290 sessions for June

* email subscribers just under 7,000

June Tip: Niche Related News

Blog about your industry's news, it works for bringing in high traffic. I did that when MOBE got shut down by FTC and I blogged about it even while I was on vacation in Mexico in June.

I had to do it so I can capture that traffic, and it worked! That's how it got my new record of almost 2K users that first day and getting over 30 referrals a day for it.

I've also done this at least a couple of times and each time I did that, my traffic kept higher than before I blogged about the news so it's worth doing this as well as giving you something to blog about.

My Results Don't Dictate YOURS

I sure hope not, I hope you get way faster results and much more than me.

I have said time and time again that there are plenty of members here who make this kind of money way faster (like make $4K in 7 months or $1-2K by 11-12 months) and it all depends on your niche, what keywords you use, and how much you grow your site (how much hard work you put in).

The best advice I can offer you is use keywords with AVG (searches) > 50 and QSR < 50, this makes your posts way easier to rank and the key to getting traffic.

No, you do NOT need 470+ posts to make $2K, I've seen plenty of people making this much with way less posts like in the 60's or 70's so don't freak out and feel that this is any indication that you will have to work sooooo long to hit your goals, but I do.

No, you do NOT need 470+ posts to make it to Vegas in my niche, but I do.

I could only do me, I can't do anyone else, so if it has to take me this long to make this much money, I'm cool with it.

My Last Update

Before I go, I just want to mention that this is my journey that I'm documenting, it's not to show off but to let you know what's possible even for a slow one like me.

It's no secret I don't have the best conversion rate and no I didn't earn a lot in my first year and a half here, but why I still blog about it here is to show members who are still struggling that it's still possible to make a good amount of money if you just keep at it and keep at it hard.

I was notified that maybe I shouldn't share so much of my slow stats but I feel this is the best way for me to give back to the community that provided me with so much inspiration and motivation to keep chugging along until I'm able to blog about my milestones and successes.

Taking a year and a half (back in March for me) to hit 4 digits is reasonable I feel, but that's just me.

This is just ONE case of many successes here and you can gage when you'll be able to do the same.

Everyone's situation is different but if a slow one like me can make it to $2K/month, you can too and gives hope to others.

But anyway, I had earlier decided that this would be my last monthly update until I hit bigger milestones. :)

To those who can benefit from my posts here, I thank you for coming to read them, and I hope it's beneficial to you.

Hopefully I will have bigger news in my next update sometime in the near future.

I believe that your sharing of your stats is very good for those who question why they haven't made any money, or made less money than they hoped for.

I read a post by one of our premier members who is making $100,000/month. That is not a typo.

From my perspective, that's all well and good for him, but that's not what interests me. What interests me are successes like yours and Roope's. People who didn't know how they would make money, but believed they would.

By showing us your stats from last year compared to this year, you let us know to have faith in ourselves, and in our training. That to me is more important than how much money a person earns.

Thank you Chuck for your kind words.

You must remember that it wasn't that long ago that i was in your shoes too.

And that member that's making 6 figures a month also was once where I am and where you are.

No matter goes from zero knowledge to $100K/month without all the steps in between.

I am also aiming for that number in the long term. Everyone has humble beginnings. :)

Best of luck to you!

Grace, I love reading about your successes and I think it's generous of you to share what works for you.

We all have to find our own strategies but reading about what works for you (or anyone else who's successful) at least gets my own creative juices flowing!

So, thanks.

Hey littlemama,
I am just now realizing why I never could do this
before and actually put together a fully functional and profitable website. I'm sure, just like many others that some of us think that it is an easy task to actually see some income from our online adventures and what happens when we find out the amount of effort, hard work, and serious dedication is involved, we give up !!
Especially without the knowledge, motivation, and assistance from people like you and the whole community here at WA, creating an online business would seem almost impossible without having the necessary training. I really like the fact that you take the time to explain how this is not easy and doesn't happen overnight. The fact that you share all that you have been through to get to where you are at now, eliminates any pre-assumed expectations and gives us the motivation and inspiration to stick with it and work hard if we really want to make it. At least we will think twice about giving up... It does take time serious dedication.
Congratulations on your progress and may you continue to prosper on an exponential rate. God bless you and thank you...

Hello Spencer,

I'm so delighted to get your message: YOU GET IT NOW!! YAY! :)

What you didn't get before is why 95% who try making money online fail.

They have no patience, they don't think it works, when all the while, there's actually a lot of work that goes into, but man, once you get Google on your side, there's no stopping the success train!

The power of SEO is like nothing you can pay for so achieving this should be your ultimate goal: ranking on Google.

To do so, it's through smart keyword research as taught here, and definitely a few more factors, but number 1 is keyword usage, what to use, how to use, all that jazz.. which once you get to this part, I can clarify what to do.

With everything I've gone through, I know I can help YOU achieve this too.

Every niche is possible to achieve something like this!

Hi Little Mama. This is the second time I've read your blog. I just find it an inspiration. It really brings home the message "Never Give Up".. Some of us oldies are a bit slower then the younger tribe, and as much as I'd like to think I could make it to $2000 monthly in under a year, in reality I'd be happy if I could reach it in two. Would it be possible for you to pm me your web page so that I could have a look. Thanks Jim

We all learn and build this an our own pace and as long as your consistent with it, you will see results.

My website will be released later this year.

@Littlemama, you are right about "my results don't dictate yours." When some people are reading this, at first glance they do not realize that you have been spending almost two years making these posts happen. It does take a lot of hours, regardless of the niche and some catch on faster than others do to various reasons: Work, school, family, obligations beyond their control. It is important to realize that you can only focus on you and realize that to make a living online is no easy task, otherwise everyone would be doing it and that online income would not be as special.

Thank you Eric, you are understanding my post and glad you did. This will do well for your own online business.

It is definitely no easy task but some niches can make money easier than say mine. Lol

So you don't have to think that you always have to work like crazy like I have been doing.

The other aspect I want to mention is that your first site will always take you longer to build because well it's your first one.

The next one you build will not only be faster in but you'll make money earlier because you know the formula. ;)

Next year, I will be building a new blog and I hope to show that I can build a 4 digit online income much faster than 19 months (when I first broke 4 digits) with my current site.

If you read my posts and apply the tips I have in them, you will definitely see faster results than me if you can work on yours consistently every week. :)

Best of luck to you and I wish you much success!

Wow ! Fast or slow ? Who cares ! Ha ha ha. Building a monthly to almost 3 grand in 18 months ? Awesome ! Happy for you Grace!

Sharing this with those who are working hard and aspiring to reach similar achievements takes courage. Most of us look at our financials as a private matter. But since we are for the most part in this for the income and adventure, I think sharing one's success should be NORMAL.

The best for your continued success here at WA and beyond !

I had been trying to add the links I am being sent from merchants BUT they just don't do a thing when you click on the banners. So, instead of doing the whole link they sent me I only copied the URL link which DID work. But, does this affect the fact that viewers clicked it from my site? I am doing this with the items that the merch sell too in case viewers want to buy it. But again, does this affect me?
Reply
thegreycat Premium
Try it from an incognito tab or window. The merchant could have mechanisms in place that prevent you from using your own affiliate link. If you do not use the link you received from the merchant that contains your special code, you will not get credit for sales that take place.
Reply
rosay95 Premium
How can I make those links work? They are banners but when you click on the banner it only takes me to the picture.
Reply
thegreycat Premium
Ah. okay. I am still just a newbie myself, but I'll do my best.

In the WordPress editor, click on the image and select edit (the little icon that looks like a gear(Sorry NO its a pencil) and when that opens up you will see on the left a place to put captions in. UNDER all that you should see Advanced Options (NO its between Caption and Advanced Options). Click that and there should be a place to put your tracking url (affiliate link) in.

If you don't have an affiliate link with the tracking id, you should go to the site you are an affiliate for and log in to your account. Somewhere in there you should be able to find a tracking link that will give you credit for any sales made through that link.

Hope that helps

That's great, Grace! Congrats! I am so very happy for you. And to be honest with you, I am very grateful that you share your financial stats with us because this is what keeps a lot of people going here, including me.

A lot of other members blog about how many visitors they have had, number of referrals, how many blogs they have written or number of words, but ultimately, we are all looking at making money here. Thus we look for financial stats more than anything else!

It is nice to see that you are somebody who does not mind sharing their income and to be honest, once i start making money, I will not mind sharing this info either. Just like you give motivation with this information to many within the community, I want to show my financial stats to newbies so they can also rest assured that the training here works!

Keep up the great work and wish you much more success and the financial freedom that you are looking for!

Wonderful job Grace! Thank you for sharing your progress with all to inspire us.

Your email list growth is also very impressive! What are the best tips that you would give for building an email list fast like you?

By the way, I am just watching Jays webinar about sending blog posts through RSS feed and scratching my head why I havent been doing this before. I guess it gives a lot of traffic to the blog over the time course to send the blog posts automatically to the list.

What do you think?
Reply
littlemama Premium
Hi Roope,

Thanks so much and glad to help you in some way! :)

My email list has been built by offering a freebie of course. ;) My landing page is made like a "guide" to making money online so they need to sign up to get it.

But this is also the same page that all my reviews point to for free without having to sign up.

I have talked about this under these posts: I used to do that with my email list but that didn't do much for me, also I blog so much about scams that they will get bored.

I use my email list for my sales funnel to WA here. It's just a series of 7 emails and then they only get periodic ones like when I get results like this, I blast this out to my list and it always gives me sign ups. Not a ton but a few.

I haven't sent the June one yet so maybe I'll get more with this report. Lol We'll see.

I hope this helps you! Let me know if you have any more questions, please PM me if you wish.

Wishing you Vegas too!

PLEASE don't feel threatened or discouraged by other's insecurities about your success. Don't listen to their "advice" either. Jealousy makes people nasty - don't pay attention.

I read something the other day that we can all take to heart, it said:
"We can all benefit by taking a cue from the weather - it pays no attention to criticism." ;-)

Just like you are doing "you" and can't do anybody else, what you are sharing will threaten some and inspire others -- focus and keep on inspiring those who want to be inspired! ;-)

Your money posts - as well as those of Jerry Huang - is a HUGE inspiration to me and Hubby! On days when we feel discouraged, we look at each other and say: "If Grace and Jerry can do it..." ;-) We are much slower than you, so don't worry, you just keep going girl - we are cheering you on big time! ;-)

You are really doing amazing work - you are such an inspiration! I can't begin to tell you. We are looking forward to reading about your successes, what works for you and what didn't. Since we learn so much from you!

Keep up the good work, we wish you much success!

Hi Madison, thank you for confirming that my post is helpful to you! That person said that I will scare people like you away and make you run for the hills! Lol

A few weeks is nothing to be frustrated about but I hear you, I was glued to my stats in the beginning too. You will soon learn to let it go for a bit and just concentrate on building your site up.

Remember those low hanging fruit keywords are the key to traffic, so the more of those you have on your site, the more traffic you'll get which in turn will give you $$$!

It's just a numbers game and so don't get too hung up on your initial stats. Be happy you have stats to show later how low your traffic WAS. :)

Best wishes to you!!

They don't want to see only "I Made $10,000 This Week" since that feel unobtainable when we are starting out. Yes Oscar, we all have big huge goals coming into WA, but that's because we didn't know how the business worked.

We also have to account for those earlier months when you're not even really sure if that's what you want to do. Or a lot of us already have busy schedules so trying to make way for this business could take some time and getting used to.

Whatever the case is, everyone will get there at different times, it's just the process we must all go through.

I wish you so much successes at much faster speeds!
Grace

That is so true. The first 4 months I felt overwhelmed and I thought that after 10 articles, I would make my first sale. After 30 articles, nothing happened.

I still don't understand how this business works, but I am getting there soon. Once I make those first sales, I will understand what made my site strong.

I am working really hard as much as I have time to. I usually work in the middle of the night, because of my full-time job and my family, but that is ok.

I would like to speed up the money thing, but even should be slower than you or do it at the same pace, I will continue to work. There is no giving up or back.

Your story, as well as many others, have inspired me to work diligently and never give up.

If it wasn't for stories like these, I would not have trusted this website as quickly as I did.

I can see how your business is starting with the snowball effect, and now the sky is your limit.

That is so great!!!! I will be waiting for your next success story!

Wishing you all the best with your honorable business,

Thank you so much Oscar! Your words are warming. :)

For your business, it sounds like you may just need more posts but make sure you are already using the keywords with the criteria I suggested above.

Remember that keywords means traffic, the more keywords on your site, the more traffic you'll get.

The more traffic you get, you more money you'll earn. :)

So keep on putting those low hanging fruit keywords on your site and one day Google will just reward you for them.

Those are seeds you're planting on your site and one day they will blossom like you're seeing on my site is growing month after month for this past 6 months.

So concentrate on planting the correct seeds on your site. Reach out for help when you need it. This community is the BEST ever for help and support so don't be shy.

I'm also available to you if you need anything. :)

Wishing you so much success!

I personally really appreciate you sharing your 'slow stats.' I don't think they are slow at all and I think what you share is very relevant in that it is realistic.

Many of us can't work on our site full time and understanding that might might take a year or more to start seeing results is just logical.

I'll freely admit at the 6 month mark I just gave up for a solid month because I wasn't seeing any traffic. I got back to it and started finally seeing things at 9 months. I love case studies that are grounded in truth and the norm instead of the black swans!

Thanks for sharing Grace!

Hi Craig, Your message means a lot to me and glad you can see that an online business can take some time.

If you think about it, it all just depends on how much traffic magnets (low hanging fruit keywords) you can put on your site. So if you can put one traffic magnet a week, you will take longer to see results vs someone who could put seven traffic magnets a week.

I'm sure a lot of people quit even earlier than that, I see it in my business all the time.

I get that this is not for everyone but for those who really want to do this, I hope my posts can offer them inspiration and know that it could happen.

Thanks for your time and sharing your thoughts!! Wishing you so much success here Craig!

Thanks for always being a great supporter of mine and I appreciate you!!

I really appreciate that you shared even though it may be "slow!" I'm just starting out and it's so helpful just to be reminded that even though this might take a long time, persistence will be worth it! Honestly if I am making $2k/month by 2020 I wouldn't be able to complain! Also great tip about the niche news posts, that's such a good idea! Congrats on your success!

Persistence! That is what I get from your post Grace! No matter how fast you got there, with Persistence YOU DID IT!

Being at this part-time, it actually brings me to hope that by keeping at it, I will get there eventually!

Slow stats or not they are YOUR stats and to me, they are looking awesome!

I just received my first payment from WA this July 1st, and it did get me to be a lot more enthusiast about doing more! A little money will always give some push right? :)

And reading blog posts like this only proves that IT IS POSSIBLE!!!

Congrats on your new milestone Grace! Please keep us posted on your success, all it does is help! :)

Take Care

Yes! Thank you Denis for your supportive and warm message!

Congratulations to you on your first WA payment!! That's so exciting! Yes, when you have successes, you do want to keep moving forward even more and makes working a little easier for sure.

Yes, I want to show members who are in that first year or even two years in and not making much results, that if they keep at it, it will happen!

The possibility is huge and I still have so much to learn and implement in my business so it's ongoing if you want to keep earning. :)

But this business could be so forgiving on your work when you have reached a certain level, and the flexibility gets even better as you work on your business longer.

So yes, plug away and keep moving forward, however you need to get there, find out what that is, and get it done in your own schedule. :)

To much more success to you!

To me, a slow and steady progression equals a strong foundation and thorough understanding of what works and what dosen't.

Also, it helps those of us who are in the same situation to keep the faith and keep going, thanks for being honest and true. Wishing you more and more success!

This is just what I needed to hear! I have searched and searched how long it takes to make money. Not because I'm a skeptic, but because I want to be real with myself and not give up because of losing hope!

Now that I see a realistic testimony I want to keep hitting the ground running! My goal was 5k, but I didn't know how long it takes. I have a goal/scheduler planner. And I am writing out my schedule. It looks like I will finish my level 5 training in less than a month. At the rate I am going, it is taking me 2 months to finish my training. And probably another two months to make a little money. So I already knew off the bat that I probably won't make anything the first 4 months, and I was okay with that. I just want to be real with myself. So I am slow, not because I'm lolly gagging but because that's all I am allowing for myself because I am a mother and I don't want to neglect my child.

So I put in about 30 hours a week. And I am happy about it. I'm a little bit of a slow learner, especially when parts of the training doesn't have a video attached for visual aid. haha

So I think a great goal for me is to make my first 1K with in 1 year. I really do believe in myself! Just needed a realistic testimony!

Anyways, thank you!

And I want to follow you. Thank you for being YOU!

Hi Jeff, thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it. :)

Believe me, I have shared my bad too in the beginning. It's not all rosey and you will have ups and downs.

It was a member who told me not to share so much details to show my slow progression because it's not encouraging to new members.

But I'd rather show some reality on how this business works than to have some people quit at 3 months because they have no traffic yet and think this training doesn't work.

The reality is you need to spend at least 3-6 months of really hard work to start seeing results roll in and then where and how you take it from there is up to the person.

Also any tips I share can possibly help someone hit 4 digits earlier because they learned from what I have shared.

So I will always share and even more so when I have hit even bigger goals.

Thanks for all your support and I wish you much success!!

Sorry for commenting again (it feels greedy) but I came back and re-read your post because something was nagging at me.

Whoever told you not to share your slow rate of success is WRONG. Everyone here at WA needs to see that success comes at different rates for different people but what matters is persistence.

If you keep it up, you'll get there - and that, I feel, is exactly what you're trying to tell people.

Thank you for the honesty in each of your posts - members need to see REAL results, not exceptional ones. If people only went by the success of those lucky / determined / very skilled few that earn $4k in their 4th month, they'd give up when they don't see the same results.

Have an awesome day (assuming it can get any more awesome). :)

Hi Phil, I appreciate so much that you came back to write this. To tell you the truth, that message bothered me so much I almost didn't write this June post.

But in the end I did because the response I have received from all my other posts have always been positive and I KNOW I can help others here, even if it's a small group it would be worth it to me to expose my laundry.

That member said I would scare people away with my slowness and that they will see such a big mountain to climb but heck that is what I felt back exactly a year ago, having already put in 10 months and only making $50+.

But I was determined to find out what else I need to do to get me where I want to be. I did find out by asking other members here and observing all I can, and then I started pounding & climbing on that mountain.

And guess what? I'm not even at the top of the mountain yet!! That means there are more results to come!

So if anything, my results show that you really don't have to quit at 10 months or at any point you're at. You just need to either go over the training again, or reach out to members to see what else you're missing and add that your site.

I really hope a lot of members can see this from my post. :)

I'm glad you posted this, I really am - people need to see that if they stick at it, they will succeed.

I'm guessing that the person that complained cared only about their potential commissions and little for the success of their referral pool. This makes me sad.

If they care at all about others they would realize that they will lose referrals that become discouraged - which your post helps to prevent.

Stay positive and stay awesome. :)

Hi Grace,
One thing you are doing about showing how long it takes - slow or fast - is you are keeping it so real. And that is what I love! Well done to you.

You know, if it takes me 3/4/5 years to get to what you have made then it will be better than those that quit after 6 months here and whom continue to chase the shiny red ball, that seems to keep getting away. All I say is good luck to them.

I always like seeing your updates, it just shows what is possible for all of us!

Exactly, just keep at it, and if you're not finding the results you want, try to find out why, and that's what I did... Figuring out what else you need to do to get the results you want is the battle here. Once you can figure that out, then your path is there for you to take.

Congratulations Grace! Thanks a lot for sharing. Although you keep saying that you're slow in getting the result, but I find it really inspiring, really. Because when I read about other people success story who have great result in very short period of time there will be a lot of doubts going on in my mind. I will think there must be some kind of secret strategies or can I be as good? And that create more anxieties rather than giving me energy and motivation, which I can find in your sharing. Really appreciate it.

Sharing all those figures like how many posts and traffic you have, really help us who are new to have a rough idea of what to expect. And the most important thing I get is, as long as you don't give up and keep committing to your hard work, the result will come sooner or later.

By the way looking at 470 posts in 22 months, which average of more than 5 posts per week, that is considered quite a lot for me as a newbie. I just wonder how much time on average that you spent on a weekly basis to produce your content, which include your research and writing the post itself.

I would like to wish you all the best and hope to your next milestone sharing in near future.

Cheers!

Thank you Lee and I so appreciate your message here!

I don't think I'm that slow either but other members here make me feel this way, and you know what, I just need to keep on my path to do what I need to do to reach my goals. There's still plenty of work to be done. :)

About my work and 470+ posts. No, I didn't start off writing like crazy. This is my progression:

9/16 - 3 posts
10/16 - 6 posts
11/16 - 7 posts
12/16 - 8 posts
1/17 - 12 posts
2/17 - 14 posts
3/17 - 17 posts
4/17 - 19 posts
5/17 - 19 posts
6/17 - 17 posts
7/17 - 13 posts
8/17 - 18 posts
9/17 - 31 posts
10/17 - 38 posts
11/17 - 39 posts
12/17 - 37 posts
1/18 - 31 posts
2/18 - 28 posts
3/18 - 32 posts
4/18 - 31 posts
5/18 - 27 posts
6/18 - 24 posts

It takes practice to get good at writing a lot of posts that are well researched, high quality and such.

You should see one of my first posts here on WA asking people why does it take me 10 hours to write ONE post?!

Nowadays, if I know what I'm writing (keyword ready, researched), it can take me as fast as 2 hours... all in all it would be 2.5 to 3 hours. Some still take me longer depending on the subject.

You will find what could be an easy topic for you to write and what isn't. Also I do a lot of product reviews, and there's no shortage of that in my niche.

I am a stay at home mom, so I do have the days to myself when my kids are in school.

You will see my June / July are always lower in posts because my kids are out of school and vacation kicks in.

I will sure crank it up again when they go back to school in Aug.

Thanks for your comment and so glad I can inspire you!! May you see as much success if not more!

Sep/17 was my one year anniversary and I was seeing my site starting to pick up more and more traffic, so I stepped it up and said, dang it, am I going to get to Vegas or am I going to get to Vegas?!

That was also when one of the Super Affiliates from last year blogged about going to Vegas and he was the second that confirmed they had 400 posts.

I knew my first 100-150 posts did not have a lot of product reviews and more of how to's, social media (off niche by the way, I've since stopped this), and such that didn't help me much.

Couple months before I realized in needed way more product reviews and then by Sep, having another Super Affiliate say the magic 400 posts, I took that as my path to Vegas.

So in Sep, I went forward on that path like raging! LOL Because I knew my earlier posts didn't have too much product reviews, I was determined to add 400 product reviews.

I have in the last couple of months slowed down a bit for my girls summer vacation but it will be kicked back up again in Aug.

I'm guessing by the time I reach Vegas, I will have done over 500 posts... where I end up is to be seen. :)

So happy to help you guys!
Grace

PS - If I had started writing like crazy from the beginning, I would have gotten Vegas by now already. ;)

Great results Grace, my question is with regards of the AVG only, when you say greater than 50 is there after a ceiling for that?
Let's say I find a word with 1000 AVG and is below 50 QSR, am I in presence of a perfect keyword, or somehow a too high AVG may be a tricky number?
Reply
RAFStuart Premium
Hi Pablo,
Regarding the AVG, I have always gone below 50 and a QSR below 50 as well. If I recall my initial training we were advised that the AVG should be between 30/50. Really think that it possibly depends on what works for you.
Reply
WAPablo Premium
Thank you for that, I need to go and review some of the first training, as I am sure it is there somewhere. Thank you for your thoughts.
Reply
littlemama Premium
Yes that's a perfect keyword... You just don't want AVG too low because that means no one is searching it. The only way this could be below 50 is if it's a brand new or relative new product and there's no history for Jaaxy to tell you if there are any searches.

So let's say the "news" article I wrote... the first thing I thought about was what would people type in to find out about this story, and I would put all those words in my title to make it make sense, in my first paragraph, and again somewhere near the end.

So you can do that with a new product as well if Jaaxy doesn't give you good criteria for AVG but you know it's new and has potential to grab a large audience.

AVG has no ceiling the higher the better but in order to find QSR < 50, your AVG usually is about 75 or higher. I have once seen AVG in the 300s and QSR under 50, it works, tons of daily traffic to this one post.

Also, usually the keyword is long tail (multi-word keyword).

Hope this helps!
Grace
Reply
littlemama Premium
Hi Edwin, the training actually calls for:

AVG > 100 and QSR < 100

I just use 50 instead of 100 because you can rank even better that way.

If your AVG is below 50, you're not going to have a lot of people searching for that keyword.

The AVG criteria tells you how many searches there are for that keyword in a month so if AVG is below 50, you're not going to see much traffic.

Hope this makes more sense,
Grace

It does Grace. I have seen keywords with searches over 3K and QSR below 10 and I was thinking something is wrong...

OK accept that I cannot read, seriously thanks for the update and me just being wrong, apologies. Cannot remember why I copied the figures down which I quoted.
Reply
littlemama Premium
Do those have What is or How to in them? Just be careful of these as they are called stopped words... so if two keywords is giving you the same AVG, the one with the higher QSR is the truer QSR for that keyword.

It means that Google doesn't really pay much attention to those words and concentrate on ranking for main subject.

I'm not sure why you would have been asked to not talk about your slower times - I think it's really important to show that things here DO take time. And I disagree with people saying about not documenting slow results - there are way too many people trying to show only the bright side of internet marketing, freelancing, digital nomadism etc...

People need to realize that:
1) everyone's results are different;
2) you can't expect good results without the work you put in. I just find that being transparent about both successes AND failures works better.

But maybe that's just me, I prefer not to look at the world through rose-tinted glasses ... doesn't mean I don't welcome positivism though ;)

Once again congrats on your achievements! I think I'll speak for everyone here when I say that you're a HUGE inspiration to us! :)

Thank you so much for your supportive comment Zarina! Really appreciate it and why I write these posts.

Lol failure - um, read my earlier posts here, and remember I only made $50+ in my 10th month?! I think that's self explanatory. Lol

Kidding aside, I understand what you mean. I do use do a lot more of that, point out things not to do.

I've been waiting so long to write these posts that the other ones don't seem as fun. :)

Certainly, I will reveal a lot of my failures so others can fast track hopefully to get better results in upcoming trainings I want to do after I achieve my goals.

I can't wait to share more, and read your awesome successes!!

Awesome results Grace!!
I have been trying that with my website. I'm focusing on organic health products and I've been trying to do posts related to the news. I wrote one last week about plastic bags and linked it back to fabric bags and organic produce at supermarkets not needing plastic. I'm almost at the stage of adding affiliate links into my website! :)

Thank you Tara! And great to hear that you are using that tactic! That will certainly work and you have the concept down, great job! Just gotta remember those awesome low hanging fruit keywords. ;)

Grace,
I wanted to add my reply because I am not sure if some people got that comment you added about "Using our Niche Related News!"

I took that on board and I just want to say. Thankyou so much. It is something we can all use!

You really are a Gem for sharing that with us all. It's a powerful guide line. :)

Thankyou so much Grace. :)

This is great news Grace, well done and congratulations to you!

It is interesting that you say that everyone's situation is different Grace, I very much agree with you on this. There are certain things we have to do to make money but we can also put their own mark on to our websites and still make similar results! Think the main thing is though consistency and this is something that you are doing.

I'm looking forward to hearing about your next success story.

Enjoy your day.

Thank you so much Roy and appreciate everything you've said!

There are just so many avenues to success that it's impossible to say THIS is the path. We all learn bits and pieces from each other as well as the training here, and we take all that information and process it in our own ways.... out comes the other end is our creations, all unique like their owner.

Wish you much success Roy!

Thank you for taking the time to comic Grace, I definitely think it's very important to show the uniqueness! We learn the principles at Wealthy Affiliate and then we add our own unique touch, which is so important!

Enjoy your day.
