A Writing Schedule - Wow! What a Difference!
At the end of Phase 4 of Bootcamp, it called for a 20 day schedule which came in perfect timing because that's what I thought I needed for awhile and never got around to it.
Still, I had procrastinated on making the schedule for awhile.
Then finally I sat down and made one last Thursday and it's been so awesome!
Not only I'm writing better but I don't waste time thinking about what I'm going to write that day. I've also planned days for keyword research so I don't waste time on writing days on that neither.
I also have cleared days on Saturdays and Sundays so I can do any "catch up" and more importantly spend time with my family... which I have not be doing well at. So I'm super happy about that and I had awesome quality time with my family this past weekend.
Each planned writing day has:
- keywords to use
- subject or title or notes on what to write
- when the post will be posted
- type of posts
The benefits of this schedule are:
- Separate keyword research days
- I now write 5 days a week (unless there's a keyword research day)
- Highly productive days
- I get to schedule out my posts so I'm posting 3 times a week on my blog
- Free time on weekends
- Less stressful
- More organized in many ways
- Quality family time
I really like the fact I can see what types of posts I've scheduled and what I need to do more of.
Because I'm scheduling out posts, I'll be set when I go on my week long vacation soon!
There are so many wins, I won't stop scheduling now that I've started and see the huge benefits to it. I can't wait to be able to schedule out posts about 2 months in advance so I can start a new site!
Do you have a writing schedule??
Happy writing WA'ers!

I don't have a writing schedule but I certainly need one. Thanks for the inspiration Grace :)
Thanks! I'm doing well so far. I am scared about slipping up but I can just adjust the schedule to accommodate for things that come up in life. :)
I was saying that same thing for a good two weeks, don't waste anymore time and get the schedule done! :) You'll love it.
