3 Months & Top 50!

Today is My 3 Month Anniversary here at WA!!!

It's been such an awesome ride here at Wealthy Affiliate! I'm so happy to have found this platform and learn how to build my blog properly finally!

I've been doing Bootcamp, currently at Course 3, Lesson 3 and have already made $32 so far from here! I've also learned different methods of making money from other members here which resulted in $14 from Amazon.

From the beginning, I thought I could make more money by now, but soon realized after I started training here, that it's not a quick game. What I love about this still is that once your site gets traction and Google start to really love your site, your traffic will just take off! This hasn't happened to me yet, but I have seen it on other sites. It seems to happen at different times of a blog's lifetime but it could be as soon my 4th month or 6th month or even in my 12th month.

What I can rely on is that it will happen if I use the teachings here and apply them to my site. Using low hanging fruit keywords (over 50 search volume and under 100 QSR) and creating quality helpful content for my audience. If you can master these two things, there's really no telling where your site will go.

I feel my site is getting a little traction because I did get an organic comment the other day so I feel I'm doing something right! LOL

If you're interested, here are my stats for my site as of today (3 months + 1 week):

• Posts – 16
• Pages – 10
• Comments – 426 (All but one from WA-THANK YOU! Of course this number includes my replies too, which also counts by search engines.)
• Email Subscribers – 15

Google Analytics (last 30 days as of Dec 6):

• Sessions - 855
• Users - 510
• Top traffic source besides Direct: 1) Twitter (by 3 times), Facebook, then Google+ (newest account).
• Organic traffic account for 7.5% of the 855 sessions.

As you can see, my top traffic producer is social media. It's important to have these accounts in the beginning of your blog life as your organic traffic is so small. It'll be interesting to see at what point organic traffic really catches up.

From Oct to Nov, organic traffic increased 3 folds, though small still, but it continues to increase as I check weekly.

Top 50

I've been hovering around 48-50 the last few days and wasn't sure if I was going to stay Top 50 but today I'm at Rank 45, and I can say I feel confident I can stop Top 50 for a little while now at least. :)

Reaching Top 50 means I've been able to help people as well as producing content here that's been helpful to others so I'm pretty happy about my progress.

I understand why some people would want to reach top rank and why some people don't. For myself, I do it to give back to this community that has helped me along so much these last three months. I feel it's my way to say thank you so if I also get a better ranking while doing this, then that's awesome too.

What's Next?

At 3 months, I believe I can now blog up to 3 times a day instead of once per day. The other thing that opened up for me is being able to create training. :) I'll have to see what's a good training to create that can add value to the members here.

I'm excited to see how my business will go during the next 3 months! I have met so many people here, I now have 925 followers, yay! Guys, keep building your network! You never know know who you will learn from!
