Does it Get Easier?

It's been a week and I still haven't written my first keyword blog.

I've been researching, reading, searching, and again researching, ( ;) ) I've typed into Jaaxy about all and any of the keywords that have come to mind that have to do with my niche. And now that I've narrowed it down and have the plan ready, I'm pretty much drained out to sit down and write.

I know it's a matter of days to do it, but really, is it always going to be like this? Will it always be so tiiring to get info and to write a blog?

I am just waiting for you, my dear friends to tell me that I'll get the hang of it and it will get easier. :) So go ahead, please don't hessitate.

Always Smiling,

Litsa

Hey Litsa, new to WA myself but have been blogging for 6 months. Don't get caught up in keyword research and trying to make the perfect post. Your blog is a work in progress. Just get something down and move on to the next post. It get's easier and better as you go. Read other blogs in your niche to see the different styles that are out there. Remember what Kyle has said about your blog not being perfect. That is what makes your blog you.

Thanks allot! I actually started my blog, have written about a page. Good thing you reminded me to keep writting! I too, want to get allot of blogs out there so I will pick things up! Thanks allot again and I wish yuou great success!!

Hi Litsa, I promise you that it will get easier. The first article I wrote took me 14 hours. Now I can easily write one in 30 minutes - often less. You will learn how to research - so it doesn't wear you out and become better at keyword research. A lot of these things come down to practice and you will get there. :) Beverley

Thank you Beverley. I've never been the best writer, even though I've always liked it. I hope I get to 30 minutes in the next few months, while I still have my energy up! I know it's a matter of getting those first words down. And I will be practicing. Thanks!!

It took me 6 weeks to write my first page. You will get better at keyword research with practice and writing will get easier as well. When the traffic starts to flow to your site, it gets even easier! :)

Thanks Steve. 6 weeks, hugh? Well, I will try to beet you :) ! No, really your giving me courage to move on. The -getting traffic- still kind of scares me but I'm not there yet! So I have time to focus on taking action with my blog. It's nice to know that it probably will get easier... Thanks again!

I'm not sure where I heard this, but one quote that seems to apply to your situation is: "It never gets easier, you just get stronger." Obviously 'stronger' makes little sense in context, but I think the general principle applies that you become accustomed to it and what used to be a challenge becomes second nature.

Great quote actually. I really like that one.

I needed to hear that! I do want to be a strong person so you actually just motivated me! I will rest for a couple of days and then head on to doing what I set out to do. Thanks again!

Hi Litsa, I totally understand. There will be days like this and other days you don't even want to see the computer! BUT, take a little break and come back fresh.... That usually helps. Hang in there and enjoy what you are doing (don't stress!). :)

Thanks allot! I tend to forget to have fun sometimes! My offline job is also using the computer (I'm a Graphic Designer) so that makes it pretty hard to rest. I will force myself to do so though! Thanks again and thanks for the follow!

HI, I hear ya on having difficulties. It was about a month ago when I made a decision to really study affiliate marketing. I started off on the King Human website, but all the ideas I tried over there backfired in a negative way. Someone from WA was on there an we chatted and he recommended this site. So I've been on looking at this site for around 10 days or so. I am anxious to get going, but could I really make money off my particular niche?? And why couldn't I just grab a random offer that looks hot, build the page and market it?? It gets confusing and overwhelming to say the least, but I guess if I look at it objectively, I've only been at it for a few weeks.

As Kyle and many others in here say, this is work, it's not a "get rich quick" kind of thing. From what I see, if there are potential clients (look into Jaaxy), then you have a market and you niche is perfect. Hang on, we're all having our difficulties. But as you can see...many friends in here to help you out whenever you need it! Thanks for taking the time!

Have you done the first course?

Yes you can make money from any niche, honestly. Some take a bit longer than others, that's all. You need to always think about what your readers want, not what you want. Forget the money, if you focus on your readers and what they need, then the money will naturally come to you.

Some days I struggle to write content and other days I sit down to do something else and a short while later have a new post done. My best advise is to follow your gut feelings. If the content is not flowing out, take a break and clear your mind. Take a walk or do something that does not involve you thinking too much. When inspirations do hit, embrace them and let the content flow out as fast as it comes.

Thanks I will do that. I think I understand how writers feel when they get "writers block"!

We will all hit that block occasionally. When I do I take it as a sign from the Universe that I should be doing something else and I change direction. Often times though, that can spur a great idea which kicks me right back into writing. Keep working it!

No, it won't always be like this :) It's tough at the beginning because you are learning something new and also trying to get as many of the low hanging fruit keywords as possible. After a while, when it's all rolling along, you won't have to do that every time. And you'll also start to get the knack of how to do it for your niche :)

For now, take time away from the computer. Give your brain a rest and you'll be surprised how it will all come to you.

Thanks Michelle. You're always here for me :) I've been a premium for about a month I think and with the work I've been doing, it feels like it's been at least two!

I think I will take a break, even though I am eager to get to the next lesson. Thanks again!!!
