My 4th day on WA and now I can see the light!

So this is where I've been. I've tried some digital marketing support and started an e-commerce business from scratch on Shopify for the organization. We've done FB ads, click funnels and were about to embark on email campaigns. Here's the problem. My boss didn't believe in SEO because in the past we've dumped precious money into a Magento e-commerce site and into the SEO company who threw in posts that were obviously designed for SEO to the point they were uncomfortably artificial and rankings were not making sales conversions.

However, I am still a firm believer of SEO. WA has reaffirmed my instincts to be right! WA has also backed me up that all the things I was uncomfortable doing which were not advisable like recycling content online to use ("not wasting time reinventing the wheel") that were going to hurt the website. So anyway, I am just going to prove what I believe by evidence — by setting up my own website and making it succeed. I am a creative being. I can certainly make creative original content.

I've just completed the video for setting up my website for SEO. I'm probably the slowest learner. I'm still an avid learner, just not the fastest, nor am I the most brilliant. I reckon any 20-something will have done twice the number of tasks at any point. It's not a race. It's a journey. I only have faith in myself that there are many things inside this premium package that are working to my advantage.

1) The writing tools: I'm a terrible writer. I'm dyslexic and proofreading is my pain point. I hate checking for plagiarism. The writing tools are so much on point, I'm thinking of using them for writing my term papers for my grad dip course at a local uni.

2) Image search and FREE!: If anyone ever has been going through ALL the free image download websites online just to search for the correct pic, you would know what I mean if I say it's worth every cent of the premium membership even if non-discounted. It's already paid for itself by covering half my day's wages. A shutterstock image costs about US$10 per image, so while I am unlikely to get the same pics from shutterstock, the time I've saved is making me happy I haven't gotten a worse operating expense.

3) 50 websites!!!!! I charge every client US$2500 minimum for a website. If anyone would just invest some bit of time to build their content, the code and layouts are already all there for them. Just be picky about pictures and don't mess around with fonts when the theme has given nice ones already — that's all! I can already start seeing how it will pay off. Alidropshop charges US$298 (or close) for an e-commerce dropshipping website. Well, look at it this way. Over here, we get a whole lot more control, yet have the tools to build websites faster.

4) The 1st WA Wordpress website (different tools from what I used to use like Dreamweaver and Muse) is probably the hardest but I am sure it would get quicker to build with each new one. Yes, it implies I have plans for others. Only because I have such an eclectic mind with so many diverse interests, I would need more websites to express my interests visually.

5) Small incremental successes count! I get to check on wht I could be doing right or wrong at each stage. This is the best way to learn, by pacing ourselves, and given the ability to repeat trainings or go back to the point we could have missed something. I admit that at night, within 10 minutes I'd have dozed off but it's good for day learning.

So after doing my math, I can only see a long term profit model if the initial investment of time is put in the right place. I want to stay with this business model.
