3 Seconds thats it !
3 Seconds .. That is all you have.
Did you know when people visit your website you have about 3 seconds to get their attention ?
i was really surpriced ! as really surpriced !
And lead me back to when i designed jewellery - i used tons of time oppimated my website, taking fotos ( learning from photografs ).
And we all know it !
When we have to buy something new online we visit many websites before we found the right one . where we easily can find what we are looking for to the right price.
What is the point with this post ?
i want to share this because i really get surpriced back then that 3 seconds that all we have and reminds me that a website i never finish there is always work to do. Always something new to learn.
It is a website journey and i am learning every day.
All the best

Thank Lisepigen for this post! It is crucial to have in mind the 3 seconds for your audience to give it to you and then some, as it takes less than a second to click away, if they find your message not interesting enough!
And indeed, website is always a work in progress! As there’s always something new that needs to be added each time!
Have a great day !
Cheers,

Hi,
Thank you for sharing your insights on the importance of grabbing visitors' attention within the first 3 seconds of them landing on our website. It's true that we have a very short window of time to make a good impression and persuade them to stay and explore further.
Your experience with designing jewellery and optimizing your website to showcase your work highlights the effort and dedication required to succeed in the online world. There is always room for improvement, and we must constantly learn and adapt to stay ahead of the competition.
Your post is a great reminder to all of us that building and maintaining a website is a continuous journey of learning and growth. Wishing you all the best on your website journey!
All the best,
Julia
thank you so much i really appreciate you comment. and for me there is really a lot to learn about creating the right content - and acctraction the right audience.
Yep a website will always be a work in progress and one of the main areas to focus first on is with your title and description the reader will see when searching on the internet.
That is why proper keyword research is vital along with finding what people are really asking.
Once you have their interest to want to read more you follow through by giving helpful content that matches your title and title description and now just giving clickbait titles with no useful information to follow.
Too many websites are losing out that way.

Hi, Liseigen
Yes, I immediately give my visitors the answer or most important info relating to their searcher intent, followed by a table of contents to guide them deeper into the article.
Once they see your answer as helpful, you’ve made the time investment and effort “worth their while.”
Internal links and videos also help keep them on my site longer. I might place a video in the conclusion, after a CTA.
I am deeply entrenched in my niche, so I know how to speak to my audience, which can be a massive advantage. 😎
