Can You Make $1000.00 a Month As An Affiliate Marketer?

The answer to that is yes, If you have the right mentor. Fortunately, I have been blessed to be part of a mentoring group at Wealthy Affiliate. Bo Tipton is our mentor. The goal of the group of 16 is to have all of us making $1000.00 a month on our websites by the end of 1 year. I am certainly up for the challenge. Sounds great, doesn't it?

I've noticed one great thing about Wealthy Affiliate. It is a pay it forward platform. There is always someone that has had the same problem that you are having and since they've been through it, they have your solution.

How Will We Be Successful?

Success does not just happen. You have to make it happen. You have to be committed to the task. In the mentoring group, we have agreed to put in 20 hours a week to make our success happen. Success is not typically something that happens overnight. It is only with perseverance and dedication that we achieve our goals.

If someone is going to take their time to mentor 16 people to help them achieve internet marketing success, I feel it is only fitting that we comply with all the homework and tasks that are assigned to us.

The First Conference Call

One great thing that Bo went over in the conference call was content. What he said has resonated with me. That is actually how I set up my current websites. Using the method below. Don't just write content to write, make sure that it adds value. Bloggers making millions a year, use the same formula to write content.

Here is what he said makes a successful blog or post.

1. Write content that adds value (solves a problem someone has)

2. State what the problem is

3. Offer the solution to their problem

4. How will the solution benefit the reader?

5. Tell them what you want them to do. CTA (Call To Action)

Some Valuable Nuggets From The First Call

With Bo's many years as a successful internet marketer, he obviously had tons of great information for us. One of those nuggets was building an email list of the people that visit your site. There is a plug in that we will discuss later on that can help us build a list. That list is extremely valuable. He said for every name on the email list, it equates to $0.25 a month in revenue. So do the math on that. The more names you have on the email list, the more you will have in monthly income.

Another great nugget was to look at successful blogs and break it down. How is it structured? How do they use keywords? How do the use images? What works for them, will obviously work for you.

All in all, the first call was very productive.
