What Is "New" with you?
Took some time off from working on the website. Busy week (last week). Re adjusting schedule(s) for this week. My goal for Monday was to spend at least 5 minutes doing something on the website. I know when I give myself at least 5 minutes, it turns into longer (2 1/2 hours later :)
It didn't start off that way, though. I had been dragging all morning. Did not even want to get out of bed. Overcast, mostly cloudy...Blah day. I tried going out in the garden (get motivated) and not even that perked me up. Ate breakfast and had tea and still I couldn't get myself to follow through with anything, it took all my effort to clean out the cleaning closet:(- afternoon rolled around and still, nothing :(- teens all went to their friends houses and dad was working on plastering the sheet rock....
Opened my computer to check emails and maybe something would motivate me, checked out website. Not much on it. Decided to start from scratch.
When I first joined WA, I played with the website and checked out the training and pushed all the buttons like a child with a new toy. Instead of just jumping in and grabbing the first theme I saw, I "shopped around a little" and played with different themes and visualized my "ideas" I have been writing down on notebook paper. I could see all the little areas, categories better with the new theme.
sometimes we just need to play...my 5 minutes turned into over 2 1/2 hours, but I don't regret any of it. a fresh start, newness and a change of mind (attitude)....
Let your inner child out and help create the floating bubble (How I saw things as a kid) everyone was in their own bubble world and when 2 or more bubbles came together, the bubble got bigger.
Children are simple, yet complex- the constant asking "why?"- title of a new book :)
Anyways, I feel like I accomplished something-got out of the blah, and have enjoyed reading others posts and getting out of my "funk-blah"

I have had many of those blah days myself unfortunately for me my last blah day turned into a week, I had to shake myself out of it and just get to work. I guess we all go through these days at times. wishing you success.
it's always good when you can feel a sense of accomplishment.
I've also experienced time dilation when working on sites. a little task turns into a day's worth of work. Not usually a bad thing though.
