Have any of you ever sold a website?
My site is for sale on Flippa. I have someone who wants to buy it. I am a little concerned because it appears that the potential buyer has bought lots of sites in the recent past. Why would someone buy a lot of sites that are not yet profitable? Do people collect websites? What do they do with them? I have found myself wondering if selling my site is actually safe. Does anyone know the answers to any of this?

Often people will purchase just for the URL. Some will resell it after they have adjusted it. Some will just add adsense to it. There are a number of reasons why.
That makes sense I guess. But speaking of adsense, I have adsense on it. Do I need to disable this before I sell it? And I suppose I would need to.remove all affiliate links?
Yes, you will want to do that. Or maybe, just let the new owner do it. If they miss one, you will still get commissions for that product. Probably a good idea to remove adsense though.
