Today is my 4 year anniversary since joining WA! To be honest it's got me a little emotional right now. It's been such a rich and fullfilling journey thus far.

I always felt very lucky and honored to be a part of this community. Fully inegrating WA into my lifestyle from the beginning has been instumental in changing my life. I always say that after WA, life will never really be the same. I was never really skeptical about spending time learning here and I think that has been key. We are so used to not believing and end up giving up too easily.

You must believe in yourself and believe me, when I say: I am another successfull WA student!

My persuit to earn a living online has lead me down a path that has unfolded new opportunities and even more potential to grow my businesses. Once in the WA mindset everything just clicks and starting other online ventures just becomes natural.

For example, since seeing early success with income earning affiliate blogs I have also ventured into creating private label products utilizing Amazon FBA and dropshopping with Shopify, which was never part of the plan. But because you're in the earn a living online mentality all the time anyway, you're willing to give things a try. This tends to lead to success beyond your expectations. That's why I always tell newbies here when they're setting their goals that they might just surprise themselves one day.

Some words of encouragement that I can offer is do not feel rushed and do not panic if your first ideas don't pan out. For example, my first two attempts at sites were duds. But because I believed in the concepts taught here and had this community as support I was never discouraged.

Thank you to all of you who have helped and reached out to me. Your guidance and motivation made me stick with it and I eventually made the necessary breakthroughs.

As you will too, no doubt about it.

Well I just wanted to say I'm here to stay. And proud of it. Here's to another year! I know I could probably share more within the community, which is what I hope to do this year. Anyway, I hope everyone gets to experience this feeling. If anyone has specific questions please feel free to shoot me a message. I'm glad we're in it to win it, together.

Cheers everybody!

The journey of a thousand miles begins with just a step - Chinese Proverb.

We all have begun our journey with Wealthy Affiliate regardless of prior experience I am positive WA can teach you hundreds of things you didn't know. I have made my entire online career out of blogging and WA has made me so much better at it. I am glad to see people are still happy after years because even though I stepped away from the program for a year and a half while I sorted issues with my bipolar I have a passion for this company and this business model.

Stay healthy, wealthy, and may your life be filled with love and God's grace.

Well done on your success. It goes to show that time, patience and the drive to succeed can get you over the line. Oh and hard work :P. Here's to another 4 years.

Right on Josh! It sure does. I appreciate you writing in and thanks for your support buddy. I hope your business is doing good. And I wish for our continued success. Looking forward to many more years of working together. Time+Patience+Drive=Success. I like that:P

Hi there Lev, I was just looking at WA reviews and saw yours there which led me back to your profile... very clever! But anyway, thanks for your feedback on your last 4 years.

I am nearly 6 months in and doing the AFF Bootcamp and just loving it. I know I want to more as in regards to websites but I am holding back as I know I dont have the time (still at a J.O.B) and also that it is important to get one site really profitable. In saying that, I would love to get one started and slowing getting ranked but have most focus on my WA promo site.

Referrals and the odd sign up are coming in so it is encouraging to know this def works. I know it is important to stick to the lessons and I am just plugging away, getting 3 posts up weekly.

Just a question. Like I said I wanted to start another site. Would it be a good idea just to get it started and maybe post 1 a week or every 2nd week consistently just to get it ranking slowly, or wait?

I have been online quite unsuccessfully for over 10 years so I know WA has the goods for anyone to be successful. Too many upsells and "I am awesome" people in MLM businesses!!!

But congrats on your success and sharing it all with us here.
Cheers, Sharon

Fantastic Sharon! Thank you for your thoughtful post and for sharing with me. It is a process and does take time like any other real business. But there does come a point where the residual income starts coming while putting in less effort. I really hope you get to this point and feel this feeling. From what you say, posting 3 times weekly, it shouldn't take you long :))

For your 2nd site I say get started as soon as possible. The sooner the better. It doesn't have to be perfect design wise. Just make it a plain jane site. Even if you have no pictures google will start indexing and slowly but surely you'll be ranking for certain keywords. Then when you're ready to put more time into that one, you'll already be way ahead. Posting once a week or once every two consistently is still very good and will help tremendously in getting traction within the serps. Go for it! Yeah MLM is a sham theyre all turning to the affiliate model anyway haha Take care and stay in touch. Nice meeting you Sharon! Australia is on my bucket list, perhaps to live there even:)

Yeah nice to meet you too Lev and I will get my second site started and just get it moving along slowly.

Australia is an awesome place to live. Even though I love NZ and have family there, Australia is my home with my family now!

Congrats Lev you must have made some success or you wouldn't have stuck around. Is there anything else you would have done differently, not done or wish you'd done sooner?
Regards

Yeah thanks Mark I appreciate it! Yeah it does take some time to start earning. I want to say atleast between 3-6 months. Plus on top of that I really took my time and went through all the material several times. But it definately does work.

If there is something I would have done differently, it would be not to force something to work. For example, I was way into Forex at the time I started and thought I could make a killing in that niche but it was just way too saturated and competitive. Knowing when to fold and start fresh is key. I wasted many months there.

I guess what I'm trying to say is get into something that has decent traffic. Do not get caught up in trying to find niches that get a ton of traffic. Look for niches with mild competition and once that is working, then scale by creating a 2nd and third site in different or similar niches. One of my problems at the beginning was looking for a niche that had a lot of traffic and that it had to be something that I knew alot about. Its not necessary. Each page you create will bring in traffic, the more pages the more traffic.

One last thought, you do not necessarily have to have a passion for it either. You can set up Amazon associate sites fairly easily and then flip them as a side business as well.

Anyway let me know if you need any specific advice or want to throw ideas around, PM me. Take it easy.

Thanks Lev.
What do you mean by flipping them as a side business? One of my sites needs some help (traffic) so I'm waiting for some help off Kyle on that one but it could be a folder :p

Sorry Mark I just saw your reply. What I mean by flipping is some people build sites and then sell them (flip them) on Flippa.com But that is usually for later on once you know more.

How far have you gone in the lessons? Do you have an idea of what direction you want to go?

Kyle may not get back right away. If you want I can help suggest topics to add to your site to get you more traffic...

I've 4 sites, most successful is the sex toy review site which has made £100 with £50 spent on advertising this month ha. It's doing better everyday now I'm on Twitter and targeting 'like minded' customers. My original money advice site doesn't seem to be generating anything and is unloved, flight comparisoñ site has had £30ish of Google ads and generated £1.46 and I have a military surplus store type site which is promising.
These are small comission though (except I didn't make £40 comission from 4 sales in a day off a keen sex toy user).
It would be nice to have a site generating larger numbers, I was thinking of those buying gold but thought that could be tricky.
Someone on here affiliates hearing aids which is a brilliant idea lol. I might set up a site on fingerprickless blood sugar machines for diabetics as that's a speciality of mine being a nurse, but they're a year or two away yet

Cool Mark! Yeah I definately think you should go after the blood sugar machines especially since you know about it. Micro sites are the way to go. Like I said before if it doesnt work out for you, you can just go ahead and sell the whole site and make some money that way. I am in the Gold IRA niche and I can tell you that it is super competitive and you have to have a site about finance or gold related investments already built to get accepted into their affiliate program. If you would like to join let me know and I can get you the details and maybe I can get you in. Anyway take care and let me know if you'd like to bounce ideas around or want any advice and vice versa...
