Everything Wordpress

I didn't pay attention to the template I chose because I pretty much make my own. I am not being allowed to add anything else and I am not finished. I know I can update a pub

If you edited a document in the site content and published it, future edits have to be done in WordPress. Site content and WordPress work independently.

I'd place my images in a document in the site content and publish it to my site. it will be added to my WordPress media library. Then delete the “temporary image” doc in site content so it does not get indexed.

You may need to empty the browser cache, refresh and try again. Try the URL in a different browser or mobile device.

You can also empty servers cache.
Websites > Site Manager > Details > Sitespeed > Empty site cache

Thanks Abbie, I've finally figured out how to use WP pretty well so I just published and unpublished it.

That's fine - you're good to go.

My advice is to publish it, then go into WordPress and unpublish it and return it to draft status. Then extend and update it at your leisure.

Personally, I don't use Site Content, preferring to work directly in my sites.

Thankyou Phil! I believe I'm going to start working on WP more also now that I halfway know how to use it. I was intimidated and afraid that I'd mess something up and not be able to fix it but I actually think it's easier now.

I think you'll find it preferable, Leslie.

I stick with Wordpress too!

Jeff

Honestly, I dont use the editor on here and write everything in WordPress so not sure if there is a better way.

But if you publish the article, that will get it into the WordPress editor. You can then unpublish it if you are concerned about having an unfinished article on your site.

Easiest way is to move the publish date into the future, it then unpublishes the article and sets to scheduled, if you move the date back when done the article will publish again

Thankyou for the help. You are correct, I do not want an unfinished article there. I will try your suggestion.
