My Wealthy Affiliate Life-Take 1
I have been a member of Wealthy Affiliate for about 3 months now. I would like to share what it has been like for me as a newbie to something with so much to offer.
Overwhelmed-Yet A Sense Of Calming
Right after joining I dove right in, at least I thought I did. I was welcomed by so many friendly members, that I couldn't wait to get started.
The first course was easy. Pretty self explanatory. Until I got to the "Choose A Niche". Hmm, I am so glad Kyle explained what that was, because it among A LOT of other lingo used in this business, I had no clue what it meant.
Making my decision for my niche was quite easy. I joined because I wanted to be able to help those needing a legitimate work from home business opportunity, like myself, who weren't able to work outside their home. I of course chose Wealthy Affiliate as my niche. You can't get any more legit than it.
Building my site, that was hard when it came to choosing my theme and adding the content. Not knowing too much and having to follow instructions for me was hard, I have to do things in repetition to learn, but with the help of this community and Kyle, Carson and Jay, I made it through. I not only created my site, but I created a logo as well.
Hard Work Has Rewards
I was accepted into the Super Wealthy Affiliate Group. This is the second month of the 12-month extensive program. I did really good (surprised myself for sure) as we had to write 12 post and had to set a goal of 12,000 words as well. If I wouldn't have been accepted into this group, I would not have come close to that.
I have not only been ranked onto the first page of Google, Yahoo and Bing, but I have also gotten 3 referrals. I had not expected to see any referrals until I had been here at least 6 months, and I probably wouldn't have, had it not been for the extensive training.
I Have Found My Legit Work From Home Opportunity.
I have found what I have been searching for. I am a part of a platform built to allow everyone to succeed. If you don't then you did something wrong, or you quit to soon.
It isn't magic and it doesn't just make you rich in an instant. However, the tools, training support and community are MAGIC and if you follow along with each course and lessons, you will profit.
I am hoping that this time next year I will have the knowledge to continue building my site, as well as helping others in the community as I am trying to do now. I can't wait until I get that one person who says thank you for showing them the way to Wealthy Affiliate.

By "referrals" it means I got 3 people to try the free membership through my site. Only one went premium though.

that's good you doing okay. Well yes I have choosing WA for my niche but when i created my website My Business Title does not reflect that at all. I wish i could change my website name and title? Well I am working on my first blog will it post for everyone to see it?
What is the name of your website?
I don't think you can change i. Have you published anything on it yet?
