First Month
So I have been here a month nearly, and I have to say I have learned a lot in that time. I have made mistakes and got things wrong with which direction to go in. I think my biggest lesson that I have learned is not to jump straight in and start building a website. If, are any new members here reading this blog post then listen to this. Watch the training videos yes I know that is what everyone says but it's true.
I thought I had found the direction that I wanted to persue with my website then realised after I watched some more training that actually that isn't the direction I want to got in. Do I see this as a failing? NO I have just found one way not to do things turn every negative into a positive. Not always easy but as you got through the training and listen to other members in the forums all this information is golden.
I have made some Great friend whilst been in here which I never thought I would make and again they have pointed me in the right direction when I have been stuck. I when I first started with WA I was convinced that I was going to make money overnight, NOT TRUE I haven't made one sale yet. Does this bother me???? No not at all Instead of channeling all my efforts into making money quickly I have not stepped back and now I channel all my efforts into getting things right and what is right for my readers.
We all know that if we have bad content then we will not get ranked on google and visitors to your page will not get any kind of value at all. So I guess what I am trying to say is slow down and make your pages valuable for your readers. I know I haven't made money yet and I will be paying to stay in WA because it probably the best learning platform that I have been on. I know in time that my commissions will start to roll in and I will look forward to that day but for now quality is the key.
Thanks for reading
Lee

Great job. I jumped in, thinking, 2-5 websites by November, easy peazy. Not so fast!! Decided to take my time and learn it well and right one time, then go from there as well. Wise decision. You're off to a great start! Christine
Hi Lee,
I understand where you're coming from. I actually came in with an attitude of being excited at first. But then I said to myself, Let me slow down here and really figure out what direction I want to go in, and how this process really works.
It took me a good six months to see that first conversion/sale, but it was worth it. Better that I get it right now, than to rush in throwing together a website with bad content and having to start over later down the road.
Thanks for the post :-)
With continued patient and content building, making and learning from your mistakes--you will succeed!!
Jeff
