Ranked 3 On Google Search
I began with Wealthy Affiliate a little over a year ago. After a couple of months, I decided to become a paying member and got serious about making real money through blogging.
Although I already had a full time job, it was sales, which meant that I had a lot of downtime. During that downtime, alongside with following the courses provided by Wealthy Affiliate and keeping up with the community Q&As, I started writing about what I knew about and what I had a passion for.
In December 2014, I got a full time office job that did not involve downtime, and the website moved to the back burner. I was simply too tired after work. At that time, a couple of my posts were showing up in Google search on page 4. I sorta kinda gave up, but decided to keep my membership going...just in case.
Now, today, even after non activity and a very high bounce rate for my site (because of the referral spam), when I checked my ranking for 'Mobee Review" on Google search for one of my posts from last year in August, my site pops up # 3 on the first page!! I couldn't believe it!!
Point of this story? Things take time. And I know that everyone has said that here, through the courses and Q&A...but here is a real life example.
Things take time, for some longer than others, but keep at it!
As for me, I'm going to focus on my website more going forward.
