Changing Directions

I am LOVING learning so much in the community here at Wealthy Affiliate. The training is amazing and easy to follow, and I just feel so motivated every time I work through a lesson. So today I'm here sharing some thoughts on my progress and where I want to go.

I have changed directions several times... and it's getting a little frustrating. I will be honest about that. I initially thought I wanted a website, just for my new niche. So I created the site, and spent a lot of time building it out. Then, I found out that I was in out of compliance with the company I sell for, but using their name in my domain name. I thought it was okay because I found lots of other websites who were doing it... but apparently they changed the rules.

So, my first mistake was not checking the policies and guidelines. Lesson learned!! Anyway, now I feel like my direction has changed again, and I'm thinking that I want to incorporate my niche into my already existing blog. I had avoided this in the past because I wasn't sure I wanted to monetize this blog, since I began writing for awareness. But since it's morphed into a blog about my life: passions and struggles while living with Crohn's Disease, I feel like a new business adventure will be a nice fit.

To that end, I finally feel like I've decided on a direction, and I will be focusing on optimizing that blog for SEO and helping build traffic and a following. I'm super excited to finally feel like I know where I'm headed. I look forward to learning even more to help me head in the right direction. :o)
