YouTube Channels to Add Value and Market Products
Do you have a YouTube channel?
If so do you post content on a regular consistent basis?
How is it all working out for you?
YouTube has been something I have been very interested in for a long time - but frustrated by it because I did not have a stable internet connection that was fast enough to do much with it.
For a while I had a connection just barely able to do a little - so I did a couple of interviews for my Income Production Opportunities channel with a couple of WA members (Thanks Jeff and Thanks Roy!) which I really enjoyed.
I was looking forward to doing many more interviews and to making lots of videos in general - but then the connection went from barely working to not working at all for much of anything other than text.
Finally, we have a GREAT internet connection (in our office - though home is as it was) that is fast and stable - so I am going to begin doing lots of videos of all kinds and uploading new videos to my channels multiple times per week.
Video is a great way to share information and do it far and wide - for FREE!
My thoughts are that in addition to sharing information and providing value to others for free - it is also a way to let people know about other products and services for sale. In my case, that is primarily online courses (Udemy) and publications (Amazon and direct).
It will also be used for some select affiliate products that are in alignment with the other things I do.
I see how it could be used to help spread awareness and to market all kinds of other stuff too.
Right now I am testing live video and audio on my L.D. Sewell YouTube channel - and tomorrow or so (as soon as Google approves Live video for IPO) I will test it there too... then start looking for my next guest to interview!
So what about you - do you have a channel or multiple channels - and how is it going for you so far?

It's good to hear from you, I hope you're doing well.
I'm really pleased to hear that you now have a good Internet connection, this is so important in this day and age.
I think video is a great way to get our point across, it enables us to share our knowledge on our particular niche. I really think YouTube should almost be our priority along with our blog posts.
I have two main channels that I am working on, however, my off-line business is taking up more time than I would like at the moment.
I do find it amazing how some videos do really well, I have one particular video that has 232K views, I certainly didn't expect that. Then there are the other videos that don't get many videos at all. But my problem at the moment is not being consistent, consistency makes a huge difference. I believe that with consistency, my YouTube videos increase greatly.

Thank you for those kind words - and yes we are very happy about FINALLY having good internet.
While we own and operate a trucking business - it is not a typical trucking company but rather one that focuses heavily on providing information, training, and support to drivers, owner operators, fleet owners, brokers, and others in the trucking arena - and to entrepreneurs and all kinds of people who are looking for REAL ways to build a better life.

It sounds like you have a fairly unique business, which is good news. Here in the UK and I believe Europe, there's a massive shortage of lorry drivers. I guess that is because the pay is quite low here in the UK, although I guess that may have to change.

Nice blog. I am just practicing with video at the moment. Another week or 2 I will be posting to YouTube. It is a necessary medium, I think.

I have a channel that I have not used for a few years Why? I work in the morning and in the afternoon I have a 4 year at home. I can't record a video with her here!
In the evening I write a post for my site.
It won't be this way forever, but for the moment it is and when it changes ie my daughter and granddaughter move out then I can utilize Youtube.

I have not done any You Tube Videos yet as I am hesitant about it. I am becoming curious though and maybe get the confidence with time. All the best in your attempts on video.
It's amazing how we need technology to be working for us otherwise we come to a halt without it.
Never hurts to try new things to us - though it may be scary and uncomfortable at times.
