When You Die
I Know.
It is shocking.
It is uncomfortable.
It is unpleasant to think about...
But thinking about it now can help you live a better life from this moment on. Like it or not my friend, you and I inhabit bodies that are only here for a time - and after that, we die.
So with that fateful day in mind, after it happens - what LEGACY will you leave behind?
What gift will you leave for others to inherit?
Will you have made a difference?
What will remain of your own existence then and how will it affect other people who will still be here for a time?
What legacy are you now working to build?

It is not shocking but fact of life!
You work for your family, make sure your family alright and show them your love unconditionally, hope that they will learn from what you mold them. Pilipino way. . my grandma said what you plant is what you harvest😃 or “You reap what you sow is a proverb that says future consequences are inevitably shaped by present actions .
Leaving them funds/materials when they reach their age 21, I have handed them what I got not waited when I died and hope the best for they also need to figure out how to work hard to provide their own family.
Legacy of when I died make sure I got covered my expenses so won’t burden them if my time comes!
This is what legacy for me.

Just me my simple way and let my kid live their own life until they ask me an assistant if they need me, the good news is when my time comes they are already independent not to much pain for me to go!

I have been amazed through the years from people who have told me so. It was not a deliberate act, yet, when we really listen to another, we can hear them, without distraction. That, in itself, can be very healing, as we all want to be heard, validated, appreciated, loved and liked...
In my wake, as in trail, not AT my, I would hope their thoughts of me bring them a smile or a grin or a laugh, with or without tears.

But yes a Legacy is an important thing for me to leave for my children.
I would love for it to be a huge inheritance that's shared equally to do with as they please. Hopefully they will do the same for their kids.
It would make me proud to know that I have done that.

There is a Saying that I have heard and it is so truthful. This is it. " One life to live , it will soon be past, only that which is done for Christ will Last".
Have I ever done anything to bring glory to God's name ? May my time here on Earth leave an eternal result for someone else, that brings Praise to God . You can sum up the reason for God being manifest in the flesh, by this one word.

My legacy my family and friends should remember me by is that I never gave up. No matter what it was, my works of art, my music, college status, when I worked, promotions on my job (retired now). Just knowing my drive, abilities, determination and accomplishments (Successful or not), should make them all better people (at least I hope).
