Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Perfomance!
Procrastination or Just Plain Old Laziness
Ok. I must be the very 1st to admit that I am a bit guilty of this. I have so many ideas that I let overwhelm my thought process and the steps that are GIVEN to members of WA that I have neglected the most important thing I need to do to generate more traffic and that is........
WRITING CONTENT
I know better. I do! But, I'm only human!
Here are 5 things I am working on right now!
1) Creating a schedule. Hey, can someone shoot me over a sample? Please...pretty please?
2) Sticking to that schedule without having to being interrupted by:
a)My whining dog, Daisy is her name!
b)My kids shouting down the steps "Mom, do we have any colored pencils" (although they have been in the same spot since they started school!!! Grr!
3) Focusing on completing one task before beginning another task.
4) Trying to find the answer myself before posting my question on WA.
5) Putting off tomorrow what I could have done yesterday...or the day before!!
On a Good Side Note!
I have traffic! Now, it may be a insignificant amount of traffic to some but for me, it is great news! So just imagine if I had been not procrastinating? Is anyone else guilty of this too?
Here are some descriptions that just may describe You and Me!
1) The "I work better under pressure" syndrome-
Completing everything at the last minute turns you on! Hell busts open when anyone or anything is in your way!
2) The "What if no one visits my page" syndrome-
You rather not create content than to create content and find out that no one is visiting your site (your hard work!). What if failure is the imminent result? What if success is?
3) The "This doesn't quite look right" syndrome-
You have changed your theme 19 times and you ended up using the 1st one you initially started with! You have written and edited the same blog post to fit each theme change.
4) The "I have to take my time and do it right" syndrome-
Instead of just creating naturally speaking blog posts, you use your thesaurus religiously to sound more prolific or interesting. After that, you go back to the same post and you have to "make it pretty"!
5) The "I must have adult ADHD" syndrome-
This is me!! You can't seem to complete one post without opening up 15 windows. Then you have to use the restroom and you start cleaning up so you can have more time to complete your posts. But then, you notice after taking the dirty handtowels to the wash area, that you had a load of clothes waiting to be transferred to the dryer. Then you fold the clothes in the dryer and put them up in their place....and so on.....and so on.... When you FINALLY get back to your post, you start writing about something completely different!
6) The "I just don't feel like it" syndrome-
You are just plain lazy and you know it! You own up to it and don't mind if anyone says it to you! You get what is necessary done but after and only after, you have had time to do......absolutely nothing! It's ok! All of us has those days.
So, you found yourself saying..."YEP, that's me!"
Since I am guilty of one of the syndromes (maybe a combination of a few of them), I leave you with the unforgettable words of NIKE brand...............
JUST DO IT!

I will be the first to admit that I spend way too much time doing nothing than something. I do feel I work best under pressure but I have learned the problem with that in regards to this process and that is there is nothing to put pressure on me but me.
There is no one giving me a mandatory deadline or checking my work, in order to succeed I have to be the one that constantly gets on my butt about getting something created and finished. I honestly think that is the hardest part and it takes a new mindset to actually be consistently productive. Keep at it!
Exactly. But the good thing is that we are apart of a community that we can express our deficiency and still get the encouragement to move forward. Thank you Autumn56.
