Made a Sale
A couple of days ago an email came into my inbox telling me that i´ve made my first sale through my affiliate link.
when i saw this i felt strange. i wasen´t extremely happy or down or anything. I felt more.............accomplished. I felt like i was watching my avacado tree, witch i had carried for months on end, finally begining to show off some fruit.
My commision was pennies i know, but just thinking about that i had made someone read my content, find it interesting enough to click on one of my links, look at the product, pick up their card, enter their information and then confirming their purchase. Made me feel so good.
It has been about 6 or 7 months since i started my site and i guess i could have gotten here a lot quicker if i hadn´t taken summer off. And maybe published something during my exam period wouldn´t have hurt either.
But i don´t really care, the most important thing is that i finallly got my ball rolling. Weather it takes another 6 months before i see another sale dosen´t really matter, because i now know that people are seeing my content. And it is good enough that people are willing to buy from just reading it.
I don´t hope i come of as bragadocious becasue thats not really the point. this blog post is geared more to me, than anyone else because the thought of "noone is really going to buy from these posts, what am i thinking?" has really gone through my mind. And while my commission is only pennies as of right now, Im gonna work hard towards make those pennies turn into a dollar.

Congratulations Nickolas, you have crossed over a huge bridge, and it is a real confidence booster, you have proven to your self that that affiliate marketing works.
