Fiverr Articles as a "Head Start" for Your Article Marketing.

Can you believe, after being on WA for almost 13 YEARS, this is my very first blog post?

Just look at my Join Date badge. It says 2009.

You may have a weird look in your face, I'm sure. It's for a reason, but I may explain later.

Moving forward...

So I have been doing some research on marketing, and for some odd reason I came across Fiverr. Fiverr is a marketplace for digital services where one can hire someone to do a task for them (design a logo, translate or write e-books, app design, etc.), or one can become a freelancer and get hired to do some of the same things just mentioned. I decided to sign up and browse the site a bit. I was amazed at the number of services offered, but something about some of them was a little odd.

I have read articles and viewed videos about certain Fiverr services - people testing the services to see what quality work they can get for the price they pay. There are YouTube videos with affiliate marketers hiring someone to write an article for them to use on their blog or website. According to my observation, in many cases, you get what you pay for.

For example...

One article:
-(up to) 500 words
-one keyword
-2 revisions

costs $5. It goes up from there. The more you need, the higher the cost.

Recently, I came here on WA to see if any of the members have used Fiverr. Many experiences I read were not so good. However, there is a member that had a not-so-good experience, and another member gave some great advice (at least I think so; I cannot remember his name, but I really want to credit him on my post for what he wrote to that member).

He told the frustrated WA member some along the lines of, if you hire someone from Fiverr to write an article for you, and you are not satisfied with it, take that article and revise it yourself. I thought, "aw man, that's a great idea!" It seems as if some people get frustrated with the content and consider it a waste of money. It doesn't have to be.

Having said all of this, if you are trying to generate an article, and get lost, have writer's block, brain fog, or not motivated, I think using Fiverr may be a neat way to at least get started. At least it will get your creative juices flowing and give you an idea as to what it is you (really) want to write. Coming up with something to write about can be difficult sometimes, but it doesn't have to be.

After reading his response, I said, "you know what? I'm gonna try this." I will purchase a few articles, review them, and see if I can use them as if, or if I need to adjust.

I'm excited about this. Let's see how this goes...

Thanks for reading, Jeff!

You're very welcome, Dee!

Hi - as you may have guessed, $5 for 500 words is extremely cheap. A good, professional writer who understands keywords and SEO and will write totally original content that requires no editing would cost a minimum of $25 to $35.

Do be careful that you have a way of checking that what you are sent is not copied and pasted, and already published elsewhere, as unfortunately, the cheapest writers will often do this.

That's very true. I will use plagiarism tools amongst others to ensure the article is close to an original. Thanks for your reply!
