Some Motivational Progress. Modest but its an upwards curve.
My Journey To Success - an update
When I first started my journey with Wealthy Affiliate, I took the deliberate decision of choosing a niche that I was passionate about. I was also acutely aware that my passion based on the 180 degree turn around in my health, thanks to Spirulina, was not the most profitable niche, but I viewed it as a "training page". I always planned to turn my hand to another site and I have made a start to that.
WA Boot Camp
I also took the deliberate decision not to take the Boot Camp route, as I was concerned it might be something of a pyramid type scheme. I wanted to prove I could make money in other niches. And now I have !
When I was looking for affiliate programs for my site, I approached a company here in Chile who said they were not interested in having affiliates but they did want to work with me as a distributor in the City where I live, for local TV adverts and for exports to English-speaking markets.
That put me into a bit of a quandary as if I wrote about their spirulina (which I want to, as in my view it's the best in the world) but I would gain nothing in terms of affiliate marketing. I like the fact that my site genuinely helps people, but for 9 months work, I wanted to see something in return for my effort, an ROI and try to turn this into a profitable business.
Profit Made! Modest But an Actual Profit.
So, long story short, I decided to start selling locally in Antofagasta, Chile, using my English drafted website (thank goodness for the translation plug in!!)
I placed my first order for 12 bottles of the local (and excellent spirulina) two weeks ago, and by yesterday, I had sold all of them via a Whattsapp Business Group using links to my site and simple ads. After expenses, this gave me a small but helpful profit of about US$80.00 and is a contribution towards my annual premium membership. I placed my second order, this time for 18 today !
I hope this inspires others to think laterally with their sites. How else might you be able to monetize your sites?
I have also placed a small order for my son in the UK. The idea being to use him as a distributor for orders from the UK once we know how much it costs to ship it all the way from Chile. Whilst the price is very accessible here, with shipping, it makes it far more expensive.
None of this would have been possible without WA. Thanks to personal use and all the research, I have also become something of an "expert" on spirulina now, and in addition, have made so many great contacts and friends via WA.
Thank you for reading this and being a part of my WA family and community.
Have a great week, I wish you every success with your WA Journey. Never ever give up!
"He who says it can´t be done, don´t´t stop the person doing it!"
Now go find more cheese!
A brief update
I received my second larger order today. I have already sold out half of it! All based on my WA site. I am well on track to paying off 50% of my annual premium membership. Thinking laterally, pays dividends.
I have just opened a new local instagram account, it would be great if you could kindly follow this its porque_espirulina Thank you so much.
