Making Progress With WA

Aside from following the training, being consistent, being organised and working hard, there are a number of things I believe we can all do, to make progress with WA easier on ourselves:

  1. 1. Show yourself some self compassion, don't beat yourself up for not achieving everything today or yesterday. Today is a new day.
  2. Remember the "big picture" and why you are here at WA. Stick to your objectives and vision. There is every reason why you can and will succeed. Stick to the programme (program).
  3. Reduce cognitive (brain) overload by having some you time. Take short breaks to recharge!
  4. Allow yourself time to do something different and interesting.
  5. Keep your to do list to a reasonable length.
  6. Use the if-then approach. If I do x, I will achieve y.
  7. Remember your daily work is about progress, not perfection.- this is perhaps the most important one for me.
  8. Note what you have achieved with your WA work/Website, at the end of each day, no matter how small. I keep a simple log in Excel for everything I have done in the day. It motivates me.
  9. Try to get outside or open a window, or go on a balcony, take some deep breaths (if it is safe to do so where you live) . Or do some indoor exercise.
  10. Talk to your friends in WA. Pose a question and remember you are not alone.

Just what I needed to see! Thanks for the inspiration. I'm bookmarking this when I need to refocus.
I keep my goals on my planner (old school) and check them off. It is a great feeling when I accomplish them, through hard work and self discipline.
But self compassion is so very important also. I'm trying to find ways to reward myself other than with food! ๐Ÿ˜
